This total is almort $500.000 ahead of 1067 figures and is reflected in the Torrancc-Soulh Bay where only 4 of the 12 cities reported are behind 1967 totals. Figures for the area are up $21 million over 1067 figures having reached a total of almost (86 million in the first nine months of 1968.
