SUMMER 2016 [email protected] www.asiaheartbeat.org PO Box 6419 Colorado Springs CO 80934-6419 El Shaddai Home “And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19) It has been our privilege to partner with El Shaddai Home over the past 15 years. During that time, we have had the opportunity to visit them on scores of occasions, including visits by our Mobile Medical team as well as numerous visits from teams representing over ten different nations. In the beginning, Saya (teacher) Hau and his wife took in about 10 children and lived in a small bamboo structure out in the countryside. Over the ensuing years, their numbers grew to about 60 children, and because of the kindness and generosity of many partners, they eventually settled into a large and comfortable home in North Dagon Township in the capital city of Yangon. And while their numbers have increased, these children continue to be cared for and nurtured by loving parents and family members. Indeed, many of them have been rescued from orphanhood, poverty and abandonment. El Shaddai literally means “The All-Sufficient One”. It implies provision, sustenance and blessing. This children’s home has truly lived up to its name. God has consistently provided for their needs over the years through various friends, churches and other donors. In recent months however, their support base has weakened and it is our desire to move quickly to shore that up. We can state with strong conviction that all funds donated to this home go directly to providing for the essential needs of the children, including food, clothing and school supplies. A one-time gift or an ongoing monthly donation would be greatly appreciated by us at Asia Heartbeat as well as the children of El Shaddai. Please know that we remain grateful for your ongoing prayers and support of our various outreaches in Myanmar! El Shaddai Home“And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”

(Philippians 4:19)

It has been our privilege to partner with El Shaddai Home over the past 15 years.
