caution
The rollers are designed or orward or backward movement
only. They are not castors. Moving the rerigerator sideways
may damage your oor and the rollers.
1. Roll the rerigerator into place.
2. The top o the rerigerator should be tilted back by 10mm
(see diagram on let). This will allow the doors to sel-
close providing a consistent door seal.
3. I the rerigerator isnt tilted back, you can adjust the two
ront rollers by turning the large, plastic roller nut. (see
diagram below). One turn o the nut increases the height
o the rerigerator by 10mm. I you have difculty turning
the roller nut, have someone tilt the rerigerator back, so
you have better access. Alternatively, you can access
the rollers rom the side, using a at screwdriver. (See
diagram below).
4. Check the alignment o the rerigerator to the
surrounding cupboards to see i it is level. You can
adjust the level with the rollers as detailed in step 3.
5. I you fnd your rerigerator rocks rom corner to corner,
it means your oor is uneven. Find a piece o plastic or
hardboard etc. and pack it frmly under the roller.
6. On certain oor suraces the rerigerator may roll orward
during operation. A Roller Stop, which is provided, can
be placed under the ront rollers.
7. You may now need to fne-tune the installation by
repeating Steps 3, 4 and 5.
tips and information
For built-in models, reer to the separate booklet.

the booklet with the connection kit.
Adequate ventilation around your rerigerator.
The diagram below shows the recommended airspace to
allow or ventilation o your rerigerator.
I you dont have a cupboard with a rear gap, the
recommended clearance area on top increases rom 50mm
to 90mm (x) and rom 32mm to 72mm (y). When positioned
in a corner area, spacing o at least 350mm on the hinge
side will allow the doors to open enough to enable the
removal o bins and shelves.
Note: For those models with telescopic extension slide-
out bins, the clearance required increases rom 350mm to
550mm or top mount and bottom mount models, and to
450mm or the all rerigerator model to allow ull access to
the bins contents as well as bin removal.
NOTE: Doors are designed to sit proud
o cabinetry (not fush). The clearances shown
above are the recommended minimum clearances.
The clearance at the rear must not exceed 75mm.
caution
Automatic aerosol systems (such as insect conrtol) should not
be located adjacent to the product as the spray may cause
long term damage to the external plastics o the appliance.
Installing your rerigerator
Your new rerigerator should arrive with the ront adjustable
rollers wound down, to tilt the top backwards by about
10mm rom upright. This will allow your rerigerator door to
sel-close, providing a consistent closed seal.
The stability oot should also be wound ully up so it will not
interere with the operation o the rollers (see diagram in

11. Beore you put any ood in your rerigerator, its
recommended you leave it on or 2 or 3 hours to check

Congratulations! You have successully installed your new
rerigerator.
tips and information
For built in model, the plug must be accessible ater
installation.
Rerigerators work by transerring heat rom the ood inside
to the outside air. This operation makes the back and sides
o the rerigerator (particularly at start-up) eel warm which
is normal.
A cooling coil is located behind the rear wall o the reezer
section (in top mount, bottom mount and reezer models)and behind the crisper in the all-rerigerator models. This
coil cools and removes moisture rom the air inside.
Avoid placing ood against the air vents in the rerigerator,
as it aects the efcient circulation. I the door is opened
requently, a light rosting will occasionally occur on the
reezers interior. This is normal and will clear ater a ew
days. I the reezer door is accidentally kept open, a heavy
rost will coat the inside walls and should be removed.
Your new rerigerator uses a high-speed compressor,
along with other energy-efcient components, which may
make unusual sounds. These sounds simply indicate your
rerigerator is working how it should. They include: Compressorrunningnoises;
Airmovementnoisefromthesmallfanmotor;
Agurglingsound,similartowaterboiling;
Apoppingnoise,heardduringautomaticdefrosting;
and
Aclickingnoise,priortocompressorstart-up.
Further details can be ound on page 10.

Controlling the temperature
We recommend that when you start your rerigerator or the frst
time, the temperature or the rerigerator is set to 3C and the
reezer to -18C. I you want to change the temperature, ollow
the instructions below. Make only small adjustments and wait
24 hours to see i its correct. Checking the sotness o ice cream
is a good indication i your reezer is the right temperature, while
eeling the coldness o water kept in the rerigerator is a good
way o checking the temperature o the ood compartment.
NOTE: When you set a temperature, you set an
average temperature or the whole rerigerator cabinet.
Temperatures inside each compartment may vary,
depending on how much ood you store and where you
place it. High or low room temperature may also aect the
actual temperature inside the rerigerator.
Changing the reezer temperature
Press the reezer button to make the reezer

smaller with colder reezer settings.
Changing the rerigerator temperature
Press the ridge button to make the
rerigerator colder in 1C steps. Once 0C is

but does not aect the temperature in the rerigerator
compartment. To use this unction, press the ast reeze
button once. An animated icon will light up. The ast reeze
unction will now operate or 90 minutes. I you want to turn
the ast reeze unction o beore 90 minutes have passed,
simply press the ast reeze button again. The icon will
disappear and the reezer will return to normal operation.
Freezer temperature alarm
I the alarm sounds or no apparent reason,

the reezer door being let open or warm ood being placed
too close to the temperature sensor, a buzzer will sound. The icon adjacent to the alarm reset button, the reezer set
temperature and bar graph will all ash, until the alarm reset
button is pressed. Once pressed, the alarm disable icon
adjacent to the alarm button will illuminate or 50 minutes,
or until the temperature drops to an acceptable level.
Make sure nothing is holding the reezer door open and
move any warm ood away rom the temperature sensor. I

I you want to leave the door open while you load the
rerigerator, you can turn the alarm o or 8 minutes by
pressing the alarm reset button.
Child LockPress and hold the reezer and
ridge buttons together to
activate the child lock. This will
disable the display to prevent
accidental changes to settings.
To turn the child lock o, press
and hold the reezer and ridge
buttons together.
Drinks chill timer
The drinks chill timer is used to quickly chill a
bottle. Place the bottle in the reezer and thetimer can be set or a minimum o 5 minutes
to a maximum o 30 minutes. To set, simply press the
drinks chill button repeatedly or the number o minutes (in
5-minute intervals). Once set, an animated icon appears
beside the drinks chill button, with a timer that counts down
one minute at a time.
You can change the time or turn the timer o even ater the
countdown has started. A buzzer will tell you when the time
is fnished and the icon will ash until the alarm reset button
is pressed.
I your drink is not cold enough, reset the drinks chill

Eneryefciency
Your rerigerator has been designed to be energy-efcient

Normalmode
Normal mode is used when the

The lea icon will appear on the electronic display when

Remember, i eco mode is turned on manually, it wont
switch o automatically.
Holidaymode
Use this button when you go on holiday
or leave the house or long periods. The
rerigerator minimises derosting to saveenergy but maintains your temperature settings. To put
the rerigerator into holiday mode, press the eco/holiday
mode button until the aeroplane icon appears. The
holiday mode will operate until the button is pressed
