Objectives

develop an elevated parking system to save ground space

the system should allow user to enter and exit their vehicle with ease

Conceptual Design 1

two levels to park

first car parked at base level

mechanism will lowers to allow second car to park

system comprise of motor, pulley, and cable

gear reduction ratio will be used to create more torque

Conceptual Design 1

Advantages:

simple mechanism

easy to maintain

Disadvantages:

require 2 floors of space

Conceptual Design 2

Advantages:

easy sequence mechanism

Disadvantages:

complicated mechanism; 2 motions are required

lots of parts required

Conceptual Design 3

when parked, the car will be slide to the lift

if the upper car want to exit, the lower car must get out first

mechanism will raise the car to allow second car to park
