What is Lebanon’s ranking in download speed among 185 countries in the world???

Bad News In 2011, Lebanon is 185th out of 185 countries!!!!
AND now the GOOD news!!!!!
Good News Lebanon’s ranking in upload speed among the 185 countries… Take a guess:

Good News Lebanon’s ranking in upload speed……: 184th out of 185 countries!!!!
Seriously now, the GOOD news: • Internet penetration: high • Facebook usage: high –
most schools & universities block it to reduce server load.
• Government censorship: Low
• Smart phones among youth (especially BBM): high • Most youth are tri-‐lingual: Arabic, English and
French and circumvent typing in Arabic by using roman script:

Qualitative Findings
Most concerns were about social networking privacy and how others will judge one’s postings.
Security for online purchases came in a distant second place.
Concerns about online predators, sex offenders (etc) was rarely mentioned. (While about half – 46% -‐ of respondents knew what “sexting” was, only 5% said they had participated in it)
