Students who have passed 10+2 examination in any branch of Science with Chemistry from a recognized Board/Institution having scored a minimum of 45% in aggregate in case of candidates belonging to General category, EWS and OBC and 40% in case of students belonging to SC/ST/PWD categories are eligible to apply.

On the basis of merit in 10+2 Examination

Biotechnology; Environmental Science (25 seats in each, including EWS quota)

Students who have passed 10+2 examination in any branch of Science from a recognized Board/Institution having scored a minimum of 45% aggregate in case of candidates belonging to General, EWS and OBC Category and 40% in case of students belonging to SC/ST/PWD categories are eligible to apply.

Commerce (38 seats including EWS quota)

Students who have passed 10+2 examination in Commerce or Mathematics from a recognized Board/Institution having scored a minimum of 45% in aggregate in case of candidates belonging to General, EWS and OBC Category and 40% in case of students belonging to SC/ST/PWD categories are eligible to apply.

Computer Science (38 seats including EWS quota)

Students who have passed 10+2 examination with Computer or Commerce or Mathematics from a recognized Board/Institution having scored a minimum of 45% aggregate in case of candidates belonging to General, EWS and OBC Category and 40% in case of students belonging to SC/ST categories are eligible to apply.

Vocational U.G. Programme

On the basis of merit in 10+2 Examination

Vocational Education: 1. Theatre, Stagecraft, Film Production and Media Technology; 2. Software Development; 3. Agricultural Sciences; 4.Tourism and Hospitality Management (63 seats in each, including EWS quota)

Students who have passed 10+2 examination in in any discipline from a recognized Board/Institution having scored a minimum of 45% aggregate in case of candidates belonging to General, EWS and OBC Category and 40% in case of students belonging to SC/ST categories are eligible to apply.

Professional UG Programmes

B. Pharm. (55+6*+5** seats) *seats for EWS **supernumerary quota

First year B. Pharm: Candidate shall have passed 10+2 examination conducted by the respective state/central government authorities recognized as equivalent to 10+2 examination by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (P.C.M) and or Biology (P.C.B / P.C.M.B.) as optional subjects individually. Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations. The candidate has scored a minimum of 50% in aggregate in case of candidates belonging to General, EWS and OBC Category and 45% in case of students belonging to SC/ST/PWD categories are eligible to apply.

Students who have passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (PCM) or Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) or Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics & Biology from a recognized Board/Institution having scored a minimum of 50% aggregate in case of candidates belonging to General, EWS and OBC Category and 45% in case of students belonging to SC/ST/PWD categories are eligible to apply,

B. Ed. (Two Year Programme) (45+5*+5** seats) *seats for EWS **supernumerary quota

(a) The candidates who have passed Bachelor’s Degree and/or Master’s Degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/ Humanities with minimum of 50% marks or Bachelor in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with minimum of 55% marks from a recognized Indian or foreign University / Board (as per the AIU foreign equivalence list) or any other qualification equivalent thereto are eligible to apply.

(b) The reservation and relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD shall be as per the rules of the Central Govt./IGNTU whichever is applicable.

A Bachelor degree with Economics /Psychology/Statistics/ B.Com/B.B.A/B.Sc from a recognized Indian or foreign university (as per the AIU foreign equivalence list) having secured a minimum of 50% in aggregate in case of General, EWS and OBC Category and 45% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD categories are eligible to apply.

Candidates seeking admission to all UG Programme shall not be more than 22 Years as on 1st July

2021. However, 05 years relaxation in the age limit will be given to SC/ST/PWD students. Candidates

seeking admission to all PG Programme shall not be more than 27 Years as on 1st July 2021. However, 05

years relaxation in the age limit will be given to SC/ST/PWD students.

No age limit for D. Pharm., B. Pharm., M. Pharm., B. Ed. and Vocational Programmes.

The Candidates are required to apply online through the website www.igntu.ac.in They are required to have a valid personal e-mail ID and a mobile phone number. They should be kept active till the completion of the programme, if admission is granted. In case a candidate does not have a valid personal e-mail ID, she/he should create a new e-mail ID before applying online. Candidates are required to upload their recent photograph and signature. Before applying online, a candidate is required to have his/her scanned/digital photograph and scanned/digital signature. Candidates can pay the application fee through NET Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card. The candidate has to submit a copy of the print out of submitted application form and admit card along with required documents to the University at the time of admission.

Note Rounding of marks or percentage is not allowed. For example 50% marks means 750 marks obtained out of 1500 marks and 45%marks means 675 marks obtained out of 1500 marks (Even 54.9, 49.9% and 44.9 % shall not be considered as equivalent to 55%, 50 % and 45 % respectively).
