Gino Leonardi ’16 and Oladapo Badmos ’17 led the Soaring Ea- gles with 16 and 12 points, respectively. LEONARDI CAREER-HIGH Gino Leonardi ’16 led the Purple and Gold against Hilbert with 16 points and nine rebounds. This performance saw Leonardi achieve career-highs in both points and rebounds in a single-game. His previ- ous career-high in both categories came on November 15th of this season when he posted seven rebounds and scored four points in the 57-56 win over Oswego State. MOVING ON UP With two made three-pointers against Hilbert College on November 25th, Neil Randolph ’15 has upped his career total in three-point bas- kets to 135 to take sole possession of eighth place on the all-time list in EC history. Randolph is five made three-point buckets away from moving into sole possession of seventh-place all time. The record is held by former teammate Josh Keys ’14 who concluded his career last spring with a total of 259. HENDERSON MAKING AN IMPACT Justin Henderson ’16 has been shooting extremely well the last couple of games hitting 7-of-13 three pointers. Against Farmingdale State, not only did Henderson score his first career points, he shared a team- high of 12 points. Henderson went on to pour in nine points against Hilbert College in 15 minutes of courtime. DEFENSIVE EFFORT The Purple and Gold have held their opponents to 68.3 points a game, which ranks second in the Empire 8 Conference in points given up per game. Last time OutThe Purple and Gold fell to Hilbert College on November 25th, 79-61. Gino Leonardi ’16 and Oladapo Badmos ’17 led the Soaring Ea-gles with 16 and 12 points, respectively.

This performance saw Leonardi achieve career-highs in both points and rebounds in a single-game. Leading tHe wayNeil Randolph ’15 has led the Soaring Eagles offensive efforts this season, averaging 11.3 points per contest. Oladapo Badmos ’17 sits behind him with 9.7 points per game while Gino Leonardi ’17 trails with 7.7. Badmos has also set up the attack this season, leading in assists with 3.3 per con-test. David Borelli ’15 and Leonardi have done their part in cleaning up the glass this season both posting 5.7 rebounds per game.

LeOnardi Off tHe benCHComing off the bench, Gino Leonardi ’16 led EC with 16 points against Hilbert. This is the most points an EC player has scored coming off the bench since Josh Keys ’14 scored 18 points off the bench on January 12th, 2013 in the 63-55 win over Houghton College.

frOm tHe CHarity stripeElmira sits in second place in the Empire 8 Conference in free-throw per-centage this season, making 75.5 percent of shots from the charity stripe. Elmira sits only 1.5 percent behind conference leader Hartwick College who has made 77.0 percent of shots this season.

benCH pOintsThe Soaring Eagles recieved 28 points from their bench against Hilbert College. This is the most points scored from off the bench since the EC men got 30 against Ithaca College on January 28th, 2014.

aLL-time vs. CLarksOnThe Golden Knights of Clarkson University hold the all-time advantage against the Soaring Eagles with a 4-8 record. Clarkson has also won the past six match-ups.The last time the Purple and Gold took down Clark-son was on January 12th, 2008 when Elmira won 63-47.

sCOuting tHe gOLden knigHtsClarkson enters this weekend’s contest with a 6-0 record, most recent-ly taking down SUNY Potsdam, 67-61, on December 2nd. Leading the Golden Knights this season is John Coleman ’15 who has averaged 20.3 points a game. Also averaging double-digit scoring is Felix Abongo ’16 who has poured in 13.7 points a game. Setting up the offense are Charles McAllister ’15 and Dylan Hodownes ’15 who average 4.7 and 4.5 assists a game, respectively.

aLL-time vs. st. LawrenCeThe Saints come into today’s matchup holding a 1-9 advantage in the all-time record against EC. St. Lawrence University have won the past seven matchups, dating back to the 2006-07 season.

sCOuting tHe saintsSt. Lawrence enters the weekend with a 2-3 overall record. Their only wins have this season come on a neutral court as the Saints picked up wins over SUNY ESF and Utica College at the Hamilton Tournament. Brady Con-dlin ’15 and Willie Zachery ’17 both lead the Saints offensively averaging 15.6 and 14.4 points a game, respectively. Condlin also leads the team in rebounding with 8.6 boards a game.
