WELCOME MIDDLE STATES TEAM!
Today we welcome our Middle States Team visitors, Mr. John Marino, Ms. Gail Neiderer, and Mrs. Nancy Pierce to
Our Lady of Grace Catholic School! We pray that they have a great visit with our teachers, staff, students, and
families and that their time here is spirit-filled and fruitful.
THIS FRIDAY, DECEMBER 9TH IS AN EARLY DISMISSAL DAY
Don’t forget: this Friday, December 9th is a 12:10pm early dismissal day. There will be NO After School Pro-
gram.
PROGRESS REPORT
Progress reports were given out today, Wednesday, December 7th in the students’ Teacher Communication
folders. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your child’s teacher.
SCHOOL CLEAN-UP
Thank you so much to the following families: Bayer, Debski, Maida, Maziarz, and Valderrama, for staying last
Saturday, December 3rd, to help clean up the school. The school looks wonderful thanks to all of your efforts and
the efforts of our hardworking faculty and staff. We appreciate all of your help!
CHRISTMAS PLATE RAFFLE
Don’t forget to buy your Christmas Plate Raffle tickets! The students have worked hard to decorate these beautiful,
one of a kind plates. You can keep it for your family or give it away as a nice Christmas gift! Check out our website
to see photos of the plates.
CAFETERIA
Just a note that there will be NO SALAD on January 3rd, 4th, and 5th, due to the Christmas break.
HOLIDAY FOOD DRIVE FOR ST. VINCENT DE PAUL FOOD PANTRY
The donations have been coming in for the Holiday Food Drive for the St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry. Thank you
to everyone who has donated. We will continue to collect donations of canned or boxed goods (non-perishable
items), and paper products until this Friday, December 9th.
STUDENT GOVERNMENT ADVENT SERVICE PROJECT
We are extending the donation deadline for the Student Government Advent service project to next Thursday,
December 15th. The students are collecting new packages of socks and travel sized personal items that they will
use to stuff the socks with as a care package for the homeless. The travel size items they need are:
Preschool - Toothpaste Kindergarten - Hand Lotion 1st Grade - Tissues (Pocket Size)
2nd Grade - Mouthwash 3rd Grade - Deodorant 4th Grade - Hand Sanitizer
5th Grade - Toothbrush 6th Grade - Band-Aids 7th Grade - Soap
8th Grade - Chapstick All Grades - Packages of New Socks
All of the items (except the socks) should be travel size and can be found at your local dollar store. The students
will all come together for an Angel activity on Friday, December 16th where they will put the sock care packages
together for the homeless.
FEAST OF THE IMMACULATE CONCEPTION - THURSDAY, DECEMBER 8TH
The Feast of the Immaculate Conception, a Holy Day of obligation, is tomorrow, Thursday, December 8th. The
students will attend the all school (K-8) Mass at 9:00am. Everyone is invited to attend.
DRESS DOWN DAYS
In appreciation of our students hard work with the advent service project and the Christmas Chorus Concert we
will be having a dress down day on Friday, December 16th!
On Wednesday, December 21st, the students will have a red and green dress down day to celebrate Christmas!
Please note that Wednesday, December 21st is a full day of school!
CHRISTMAS BAND CONCERT - TUESDAY, DECEMBER 13TH
All are invited to attend OLG’s Christmas Band Concert on Tuesday, December 13th at 7:00pm in Keefer Hall.
Stop by and take in the sounds of the season!
CHRISTMAS CHORUS CONCERT - THURSDAY, DECEMBER 15TH
Don’t forget to mark your calendars for the Christmas Chorus Concert “ Light the Advent Candles” at 7:00pm on
Thursday, December 15th. Students in grades 3-8 should report to their homerooms at 6:30pm that evening.
Students should dress in Christmas colors for the program (appropriate dress and length).

TIGER CLINIC REGISTRATION
Included in Mail Day is a registration form for Tiger Clinic. This is a great way for kids to learn about the
fundamentals of basketball. The cost is $40. Registration deadline is Wednesday, December 21st.

through the wealth of information you can find on our site. Here are a couple of helpful hints for those who haven’t
had a chance to peruse the site:
Our weekly Mail Day is posted under the “Latest News” column every Wednesday. If you are looking
for an older Mail Day posting, just click on either the “Latest News” or the “View All” box under Latest
News and it will show you all of the older postings.
The Bulletin Board on the bottom right hand corner of our website has all of the forms that we are
currently using. You can find fundraiser forms, scrip gift card order forms, etc. If you press the Show All
button under the Bulletin Board section you will see all of the forms that we have.
ANNUAL PARISH BAKE SALE - DECEMBER 10TH & 11TH
OLG’s Annual Parish Bake Sale will be held on December 10th & 11th after all Masses. There will be lady locks,
nut rolls, biscotti, peanut butter blossoms, pizelles and more! Donations of baked goods are appreciated. Please
drop off your baked goods on Saturday, December 10th from 9:00am - 12:00pm in Keefer Hall. The Bake Sale
begins on Saturday, December 10th after the 6:00pm Mass and on Sunday, December 11th after all Masses.
Proceeds from the bake sale benefit parish projects, most recently the Front Doors of our school! For more

Now is the time to buy your Flurry of Cash Raffle tickets! It pays the whole month of January with over $2,000 in
cash prizes! It’s great for stocking stuffers, teachers, friends, and that hard to buy for person on your holiday list.

PTG CLASS CHRISTMAS PARTIES - WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 21ST
You should have received a SignUpGenius email for the Christmas class party on Wednesday, December 21st. If
you haven’t received one, please contact your Homeroom Parent Liaison. Don’t forget that if you would like to help
at your child’s class party, you must be in compliance with the Diocesan Safe Environment Policy.
