We are a family-run company of the German Mittelstand which has been loca-ted in the Mageburger Börde since 1951. Emerged from an initial purchase and delivery cooperative we are now specialized in the production of special com-ponents. The proportion of the railway and medical technology in our product portfolio has been heavily growing since 2011.
Our strengths include the exact compliance of the required quality, the flexible response to customers requirements, and our reliable on-time delivery- even in case of urgent requests. In order to satisfy continually rising customer demands our company received the re-certification of the quality management and the adaption to the new standard DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 in March 2016. One of our employees became an International Welding Specialist and completed suc-cessfully the re-certification of the welding license according to DIN EN 15085-2 CL1in March 2016. Another employee received the certification „European Adhesive Specialist“.

According to the customers individual requirements the MEWA GmbH processes the unmanufactured
material to precision products. In order to carry out projects we use our modern machine park and the
outstanding know-how of our employees.

Milling - CNC processing Our portal milling machine is a 4-axis-machine that is optimally equipped with all technical refine-ments, and due to its size of 3000 x 2000 mm it can be customized to meet specific customer requests. This unit perfectly processes products made of aluminium, plastics and wood.
Folding - CNC processingWe are optimally equipped with the folding machine HFE-3i-220.3 ma-nufactured by AMADA to process aluminium, stainless steel and steel. This ultramodern press brake with seven controlled axis is characterized by a number of innovative technical features such as the enlarged build-in-height, the active angel measure-ment system and several tool sets for aluminium, stainless steel and steel.
ShearingThe ultramodern guillotine shear AMADA GXII 1230 is a high-efficient and precise machine that enables us to carry out every specific application.
This plate shear uses the experience of previous machines and exceeds their capability by far.
Press-in operation Our press-in machine PEMSERTER 2000 processes almost all PEM-self-clinching fasteners as well as fastener made by other producers. It is com-mon practice to use fastener from a sheet thickness of 0,5 mm onward.
Welding We solve complex tasks in the welding area with accuracy and diligence. Re-gardless of whether you need indivi-dual parts or complete assemblies, it is possible to find solutions for even difficult and complicated challenges. Our in-house welding specialist is a International Welding Specialist, who acquired the re-certification of the welding approval according to DIN EN 15085-2 CL1 in March 2016. He is as-sisted by an external special welding engineer.
Barrel finishing Our barrel finishing machine, proces-sing small parts, operates with a high level of quality. Without additional and time-consuming handicrafts excellent results can be achieved.

The quality management system of the MEWA GmbH has been re-certificated and adopted to the new standard DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 since March 2016. This certification is more than just a duty for us. We regard the confidence, acquired from our customers in the last few decades, as a everyday commitment. Of course, in doing so, we take into account legal and regulatory requirements. Working with the quality management service is our daily business. The focus is on the inspection of the outgoing goods as well as the traceability of the material and production flow. We take care of speedy completion of orders. Our customers know that they can rely on agreed delivery dates.
We benefit from our own warehousing. We have in stock blanks and materials of different quality and dimension, implying that we are able to react promptly to customers requirements. Our machines are all state-of-the-art, assuring the reproducible and cost-effective working of the precision components.
We also dispose of our own fleet and use the logistic advantage to be situated near of important motor-ways as well as Magdeburg, the state capital of Sax-ony-Anhalt. We have been working in a focused way with reliable suppliers for many years. We regularly assess the quality of their products and their adhe-rence to delivery dates.
