1. VPN configuration with Windows 71.1. Pre-requisitesAll the following screenshots have been made under Windows 7. This guide explains how to configure a VPN network connection to SUPINFO Global Network (SGN). If you are already connected to the local network of a SUPINFO Campus, you dont need to connect to VPN. Use this connection if youre not connected to SUPINFO Network (at home for example) and you need to access resources only available on the SUPINFO local network (Campus file sharing, internal web site,).

1.2. Installation stepsFirst, go to Control panel > Network and Sharing Center. Select Set up a connection or network in the left menu.

Select Use my Internet connection (VPN) .

SUPINFO VPN AccessConnect to SUPINFO VPN with Windows VistaFill the required fields: Internet address: vpn.supinfo.com Destination name: SUPINFO (that would be the connection name) Check Dont connect now; just set it up so I can connect later. Click on Next .

Then, fill the following fields: User name: your ID Booster Password: your Campus Booster password Domain: ESI

Tip:Check Remember this password allows you to avoid typing your password for each connection.Page 4 / 6

Click on Connect to a Network, right-click on SUPINFO in the pop-up window and click Properties.

Go to Networking tab > Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) Properties > Advanced button. Disable Use default gateway on remote network or you wont have access to the rest of the Internet while you are connected to SUPINFO.

Validate you modifications and your VPN connection is now ready! Go back to Network and Sharing Center or click on the Network tray and connect to SUPINFO.
