Smart Specialisation - concept • Smart Specialisation
(RIS3 - Research and Innovation Strategies for Smart Specialisation)
is a strategic approach to economic development through
targeted support for research and innovation.
• According the initiative of the EU commission each European regions may
present their capabilities and methods to improve their capabilities in research
and innovation strategies within Smart Specialisation
• The european commission supports the strategies of each regions
as pre-condition for giving the European Structural Fonds (ESF)
for 2014 - 2020 in the priority of Research and innovation.
It represents the most comprehensive industrial policy in Europe
