4. CARRIAGES Integrated Side Shift Carriage 920mm wide INSS092Integrated Side Shift Carriage 1000mm wide INSS100 An integrated side shifting carriage improves productivity and operator comfort. The standard carriage is replaced by a side shifting carriage. A benefit of integral attachments in general compared to hook-on attachments is its reduced x-dimension (lost load). The side shift stroke is 100mm both sides, so 200mm in total. The standard load backrest is mounted on top of this attachment.

Hook-on Sideshift Carriage 920mm wide SS092Hook-on Sideshift Carriage 1000mm wide SS100 This K-series Cascade hook-on side shifter is attached in front of the standard carriage. A side shifter improves productivity and operator comfort. The side shift stroke is 100mm both sides, so 200mm in total. The standard load backrest is mounted. One of the benefits of a hook-on attachment is that it is easy to mount it to other lift trucks with the same FEM mounting class. The hook-on combination will increase the so called x-dimension or lost load.

High load side roller kit on carriage HL/SR An additional pair of side rollers it will be easier to handle and withstand the forces occurring when handling long and or wide loads.

Load Backrest minus option BRX The standard load backrest is taken from the truck and refunded. Deletion of the load backrest will improve the free lift height (h5) and the extended lift height (h4) reduced. 1 ton: h4 -560mm, 2 ton: h4 -580mm 3 ton: h4 -480mm. Deletion of the load backrest increases the risk of falling objects.

5. HYDRAULIC VALVES 3-Way Valve Fingertip Control 3V/FC4-Way Valve Fingertip Control 4V/FC The Fingertip Control system is mounted on a fully adjustable ergonomic armrest; the hydraulic valves are controlled electronically.

Standard configuration comes with three valves and fingertip control. For mast control the minimum number of hydraulic functions required is two valves (one valve for mast lift and one valve for mast tilt function). Additional valves are used for attachments control.

5 Way fingertip control valve* 5V/FC In case of the 5 Way fingertip control valve the valve block is operated by solenoids. The solenoids are operated electronically by 4 fingertip control levers and a separate button. This button is ergonomically placed and can be operated by the thumb. *Note: This option may extend lead time.

3-Way Valve Manual Control 3V/MC4-Way Valve Manual Control 4V/MC5-Way Valve Manual Control* 5V/MC Optional is the Manual Controlled version The Manual Control system is mounted directly on top of the valve block and controls the valves directly with levers mounted on the dashboard. Standard configuration comes with three valves. For the mast control a minimum amount of hydraulic functions required is two valves (one valve for mast lift and one valve for mast tilt function). Additional valves are used for attachments. *Note 5V/MC may extend the lead time and is not available in combination with FTCAB.

6. PIPING FOR HYDRAULICS 3-Way piping 3V/Px4-Way piping 4V/Px In line with the selection of mast valves and the type of control the mast piping needs to be chosen.

(S= simplex mast / D- duplex masts / T= triplex masts)

Normally the amount of control valves is higher or equal to the amount of mast piping.

3-Way attachment on chassis 3VATT4-Way attachment on chassis 4VATT5-Way attachment on chassis 5VATT The 3VATT option provides the hydraulic pipe- or hose connections for attachments between a 3V or 4V valve block on the truck and the (not present) mast Piping. This option may be required when a truck is ordered without a mast or with a mast without any piping.

7. COOLING SYSTEM High Speed Fan HSF In demanding applications, where additional cooling capacity is required, the high speed fan provides more cooling air through the radiator.

Note: this option will result in a slightly higher noise level.

Anti Clogging Screen R/N An optional radiator screen is available for applications with excessive dirt or debris in the air (for example lint, paper fiber, cotton, dry powders).

Particles will accumulate on the screen rather than in the radiator. The screen can easily be removed for cleaning purposes.

8. ENGINE AND POWERTRAIN Heavy Duty Starter Motor 12V/3.0 kW HDS

This option is replacing the 2.2 kW starter motor by a 3.0 kW starter motor.

The heavy duty starter motor ensures smooth cranking of the engine under all circumstances (cold climates) while the battery load is kept to a minimum. This option is difficult to place as retrofit due to lack of space. This option is only available on diesel engines.

Electric Diesel Control (Diesel) EDCSpeed Control System (LPG) SCS These features a “Power/Soft” mode and a “High/Low Speed” setting by two switches on the dashboard

The “Soft” setting feature reduces fuel consumption by up to 13% for Diesel and reduces noise by half (-3dB(A)).

For LPG model it reduces the fuel consumption up to 10%.

The values of High and Low are related to the vehicle speed and can be programmed via a laptop computer and appropriate support software.

Line filter for Torque converter L/F The torque converter is a key element in your forklift's powertrain, supplying optimal torque in various loading conditions. This filter will maintain high cleanliness levels of torque converter oil, keeping all moving parts of the torque converter properly lubricated, which safeguards the converter. Note: not in combination with WDB option

Universal Joint Cover for Power Train UJ/C The universal joint cover for the power train is an optional cover to protect the universal joint against dirt and debris.

9. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM LED Rear work light LEDRW Some applications require more light at the rear of the truck. For those applications a durable LED rear working light is available. This rear light is mounted on the cross member between the two standard rear lights.

LED Strobe light LEDSTRB

Durable LED strobe light. Often used in areas with pedestrians. The housing is the same as the standard strobe light.

Halogen Front flood lights and bulb Front and Rear combination lights HALOGEN

Amber Revolving Lamp RB

Rear Work Light, Mounted on Head Guard WORK/R Some applications require more light at the rear of the truck. For those applications a rear working light is available. This rear light is mounted on the cross member between the two standard rear lights. Specification of the work light is H3 halogen, 12 Volt /55 W

Strobe Light STRB A multi-voltage strobe light is available as an alternative for the revolving light lamp. Often used in areas with pedestrians. Note: not in combination with amber revolving light (RB) or LED rotating beacon (LEDRB).

FNR Switch on adjustable Armrest ARMDC This Forward and Reverse (FNR) directional switch is located in the armrest and replaces the FNR lever in the steering column Based on the operator’s preference an FNR switch in this position can be a very ergonomic and productive solution. The operator can operate direction and hydraulic controls with his right hand while turning the steering wheel with his left hand. The FNR switch is a toggle type switch and has three positions: Forward, Neutral and Reverse. Note: Only for FC models.

Indicator Kit IND Dust Warning Indicator ( )signals that there is an excessive amount of dust accumulated in the air filter. A visual indication on the instrument panel warns the operator to clean the air filter. Brake fluid level warning ( ) and coolant level warning ( ) are also part of this kit. The Indicator Kit prevents poor engine performances due to insufficient air intake, prevents possible overheating due to low coolant fluid and poor brake performances.

White Noise Buzzer (reverse alarm) W/BUZ White sound has the unique characteristic of its source being instantly locatable. White sound does not have to rely on high sound pressure (only 87 Decibels) in order to be heard because, being multi-frequency, competing single frequencies cannot mask it. As a result a white sound alarm is equally effective at lower decibels than outmoded single-frequency alarms. Replaces the standard back-up alarm.

Foot Directional Control FDC This option is replacing the hand operated direction control, left of the steering column. The foot directional control offers the possibility to control the driving direction of the truck only with the accelerator pedal. The pedal consists of two parts, the left side for forward movement the right side for reverse. With this option the driver can keep his hand on the steering wheel while operating the truck. Note: not in combination with heater or airco option. Also not available in the DeLuxe cabin.

Load weight indicator LWI The weight on the forks will be displayed on the display when the load is lifted. The weight shown is in tons. The readout is an estimation of the actual load on the forks and not for trade purpose. For trade purpose please consider the weighing system as shown in the CSM section later in this chapter. Only in combination with Simplex masts.

Switches on the dashboard The number of switches on the dashboard is limited to maximum 5 positions on the DP/GP15N/18N/20CN models. For the DP/GP 20N/25N/30N and 35N have maximum 6 positions available. This means that certain combinations of options are not possible since it would exceed the maximum number of switches.

10. TYRES Single Drive, Bergougnan Solid pneumatic US/US Standard configuration for this truck range. Terms that are also used: solid pneumatic tires, unique tires, pneumatic shaped solid tires, resilient tires and super elastics (SE). Characteristic of these tire types: high residual capacity (see mast charts), puncture resistant.

Single Drive, Solideal Pneumatic tyres LS/LS Optional in this truck range, same shape as solid pneumatic tires, however the tires are air filled. Characteristics: lower residual capacity, high comfort factor, low rolling resistance. Not available on 20CN models.

Single Drive, Bergougnan Solid pneumatic non-marking tyres NM/USOptional in this truck range, same shape as above mentioned tires, air filled instead of solid. Characteristics: lower residual capacity, high comfort factor, low rolling resistance. Non Marking does not leave black tire marks on any surface. Also used in paper industry and food industry. Includes an anti-static strap on the truck. Single Drive, Solideal Pneumatic Non-marking tyres NM/LS Optional solid pneumatic tires that do not leave tire marks on floors. Characteristics: high residual capacity (see mast charts), non marking, does not leave black tire marks on any surface. Mainly used in the paper industry and food industry. Includes anti-static strap on the truck touching the floor. Not available on 20CN models.

Single Drive, Continental Pneumatic CONT/LS These Continental ConRad® Radial pneumatic radial tyres, high comfort factor, increased puncture resistance, low rolling resistance. A sturdy tyre with three circumferential tread ribs for light tasks up to 5 meter. High Tread depth for a maximum lifetime. For the rear tyres ConRad HT®

Half track profile is used. Note: not for 1t models Customer benefits:

• High resistance to tread cuts and impacts • Long service life, high durability and mileage. • Reduced noise and optimal ride comfort.

Dual drive pneumatic shaped solid tires.

Characteristics: high residual capacity and high comfort with stable truck. Not available on 15/18/20C models.

11. FUEL OPTIONS Deletion of LPG Bottle Mounting Brackets LPGBX On request the LPG bottle mounting brackets can be deleted from the standard configuration.

LPG Swing Down Bottle Mounting Brackets LPG/SWING Reduce the effort for LPG bottle exchange. The swing down movement is supported by gas springs. Note: not in combination with elevated exhaust on one and two ton models. Not in combination with one ton cabin sections PVC/D and STL/D.

LPG Hose with UK connector UK CNTR This is a special connector making it possible to connect to the standard LPG tank connectors in the UK. Just plug-and-play.

Lockable fuel cap with key F/CAP A lockable fuel cap with key prevents theft of fuel or unauthorized filling up with fuel or tempering with fuel.

Note: for diesel engine powered trucks only.

12. INTAKE AND EXHAUST SYSTEM Double Element Cyclone Air Cleaner CYC/D Standard two air-cleaner elements in one filter housing improve reliability of the air filter in dusty applications. LPG trucks are always equipped with dual element air-cleaner.

Single Element Cyclone Air Cleaner CYC/S Single element in air-cleaner housing, only available for diesel trucks as an option.

Cyclone Muffler (spark arresting) CYC/M The cyclone muffler is available with low or with a high elevated tail pipe. The cyclone muffler diffuses exhaust gasses and has spark-arresting features.

This option is used for instance in the chemical industry. It complies with American UL (Underwriters Laboratories) standards. The cyclone muffler does not change the actual contents of the exhaust gasses.

Catalytic Muffler (2 Way) CAT/M The catalytic muffler is intended for diesel engines only. The muffler is a 2-way converter, converting carbon-monoxide and unburned fuel into carbon dioxide and gaseous water. (CO converted to CO2 and HC converted into CO2 and water).The pallets inside the converter must be replaced after 2000 SMU in order to maintain the efficiency of the muffler. The catalytic muffler doesn’t have any effect on nitrogen oxides and/or soot present in the exhaust gas.

Elevated Exhaust UP/SAElevated Exhaust and Cyclone Muffler UP/CAElevated Exhaust and Catalytic Muffler* UP/AA In applications with dust on the ground this option prevents dust blown up into the air. For indoor usage of the truck the exhaust gases are blown high into the air.

13. FRAME AND BODY Full Suspension Cloth Seat SEAT/C This option is replacing the vinyl full suspension seat by a seat with cloth lining. All the features common to the standard seat are included in the cloth seat, fully adjustable to the operator’s requirements. Hip restraints, weight adjustment and a seatbelt are standard. This seat is recommended for indoor usage or in combination with cabins.

Rear View Mirror RVM A rear view mirror is mounted on the front cross bar of the overhead guard. The mirror will provide a good view backwards, contributing to safer working conditions. Helps to reduce risk while increasing operator comfort (strain on neck).

Note: this rear view mirror is standard supplied with the DeLuxe cabin.

Wide View Mirror WVM The wide view mirror provides an extra broad backward view. This mirror is mostly used for indoor operation of the trucks and it contributes to a safe work environment. The wide view mirror is a 180 or panoramic mirror improves the visibility and therefore safety around the truck by reducing blind spots. It is made of unbreakable and scratch resistant material offering a high quality image.

Convenience tray TRAY A convenience tray for stowing personal items mounted on the engine hood. Extra storage space supports operator comfort and efficiency. The tray includes a cup holder, pencil tray and clipboard holder. Only MC models.

Not available in combination with Panel Cabin REAR option as the tray will interfere with the gas spring bracket of the rear window when opening the engine cover. Optional Lifting Eyes for Counterweight W/HOK A lifting eyes kit consists of a lifting eye forged onto a rod that will be fitted into the appropriate holes in the counterweight. The rod will be secured with a nut and pin. A rubber socket prevents the eyes to damage the paint of the counterweight. The kit can be used for removing the counterweight for service purposes. Hoisting a complete truck for stevedoring applications can be done with this option and a tie around the mast. See the OMM for details.

Enclosed alternator ALT An enclosed alternator is required in abrasive area’s (high dust density). Nominal output is 25 A. This is less than the standard alternator (50A), which is caused by the reduced cooling capacity of the alternator.

Greasable Universal Joint GUJ Greasable universal joint: the universal joint is a flexible joint on the axis between engine and hydraulic pump. In abrasive environments the greasable universal joint reduces joints wear.

Frame in a special Color* SP/CLR FRFrame and Headguard in a special Color* SP/CLR HG For customer- or company color requirements, a wide range of RAL colors are available. A choice between chassis only or a combination of frame and head guard can be made.

*Note: This option may extend lead time. Certain RAL numbers are unavailable or might extend the lead time. Consult your account coordinator for information and availability.

High visibility overhead guard HG/HIVIZ The roof segment consists of a polycarbonate see-thru panel which allows the operator a clear view upwards. Directly above the operator’ head is a metal plate as structural part of the overhead guard. The 6mm polycarbonate-glass combination roof allows good visibility and safe operation. On both sides of the PC panel an anti-abrasive and UV-protective layer of silicate is applied. This layer prevents scratching and aging of the polycarbonate due to sunlight. This option is standard enclosed in the panel cabin option as TOP. This truck has +19mm increased torso clearance compared to the standard overhead guard.

14. CABINS DeLuxe cabin, fully floating and tiltable FTCAB The DeLuxe cab can be tilted backwards over the counterweight to provide full access to the engine compartment. The DeLuxe cab is offered on the 2.0 ton to 3.5 ton models only. The cabin is mounted on four rubber shock mounts, resulting in very low noise and vibration levels. The tilting of the cabin is done by engine power or manual hydraulic operated lever. The cabin comes with Fingertip Control (FC), includes a 12V/55W flood lights, radiator type heater, audio preparation, rear view mirror and electronic parking brake.

Note: not in combination with LPG/SWING, except for 3.0 and 3.5 ton models. Not in combination with Manual Control option.

Front and HiViz Overheadguard FR+TP Includes the high visibility overhead guard (see HiViz option). The roof segment consists of a polycarbonate-glass combination see-thru plate which allows the operator a clear view upwards. Directly above the operator’ head is a metal plate as structural part of the overhead guard.

The front screen is a 5mm laminated glass fitted without a frame (glued) in the OHG. It follows the exact shape of overhead guard, so there is no loss of forward visibility. The front screen is equipped with a 2-speed wiper with washer functions.

Rear window REARPVC doors PVC/D Add on to FR+TP the rear is closed by 5mm tempered glass. The rear window can be opened for tilting the engine hood backwards. The rear window is equipped with a 1-speed wiper with washer function. The switch is located on the front dash. The two PVC side doors have transparent parts that optimize visibility to the sides. Zippers on the front and rear side allow easy on and off access for the operators and magnets secure a tight fit to the chassis. The doors can be rolled up or completely removed. Note: not in combination with LPG/SWING for 1.5 ton, 1.8 ton models or the 2.0 ton compact model.

Rear window REARSteel doors with sliding windows STL/D

Add on to FR+HiViz and REAR (see above) The doors feature a sliding window. This package is standard equipped with engine cover- and roof lining. This option features a 12 Volt connection on the dash, interior light that automatically switches on when a door is opened and a coat hanger.

Note: not in combination with LPG/SWING for 1.5 ton, 1.8 ton models and 2.0 ton compact model.

Panel Cabin option heater HEAT

The 7.5 kW radiator type heater (fed by engine coolant) is located on the right side integrated in the dashboard. The controls for the heater are within easy reach. This option is CE certified with the complete truck and cabin and provides the CE required fresh air through an opening in the right hand door. Only in combination with STL/D and FTCAB.

Tilt cylinder hole covers T/COV The tilt cylinder hole-covers close the gaps on the front side of the truck. These covers are standard in combination with a heater and/or air conditioning system, optional for the Panel cabin (package 3).

Panel Cabin option Audio System Preparation AUDIO/PREP

This option features preparations taken allowing installation of a radio / cd player. This option includes wiring, antenna, speaker preparation and space reserved for a car radio in the interior lining. Note: Only in combination with panel cabin STLD/D. 15. OPTION FOR HYDRAULIC SYSTEM Dust Proof Kit for Front Axle & Tank DPB/KIT

For dusty environments this dust proof kit is recommended preventing dust particles from entering via the front axle breather into front axle causing wear to components.

The same feature is applicable for the hydraulic tank when - during mast operations - the oil level in the hydraulic tank goes up and down.

Tilt Horizontal Control (FC only) TIL/H Horizontal tilt control provides an automatic level system to set the mast to zero degrees tilt angle in a forward tilt movement. This option increases the operator comfort and productivity and prevents damages to cargo. This tilt horizontal function only works without load on the forks.

Note: not available with MC control, DeLuxe cabin or in combination with Load weight indicator.

16. STEERING AND BRAKING Heavy Duty Steering Link HDL

In heavy duty applications and locations with lots of dust, sand and/or abrasive materials around, it is advantageous to employ heavy duty steering links. The construction is extremely rugged and requires no greasing. The HDSL option provides a reinforced construction for the steering links on the rear axle.

Wet Disk Brakes WDB

Disk brakes immersed in a closed oil bath instead of conventional drum brakes. Wet disk brakes offer superior performance and low maintenance in heavy duty applications, multiple shift applications and highly contaminated work locations with dust, sand, grit and maritime environment.

FlexControl offers a transmission protection system that will prevent operator abuse of the truck and safeguards against driver error that could quickly damage the drive-train. The Hydraulic Accumulator dampens peaks in the hydraulic system and reduces wear on hydraulic components.

LPG Fuel Meter PCSM063 A sensor is placed under the LPG tank. A meter placed in the driver compartment indicates the amount of LPG that is left in the tank. This system is very accurate so it saves money by not standing still unexpectedly and by not exchanging LPG tanks that still contain too much LPG.

Galvanized chassis PCSM080 This option features a sophisticated protection against rust by adding layer of zinc and multiple primer coatings, applied to the complete chassis incl. fenders, head guard, floor-plates and engine cover. Forks weighing system PCSM260 The RAVAS iForks weight indicator in the cabin shows the weight of the load on the forks and offers a complete range of weighing functions: gross/net weighing, total weight per shipment, code entry, date/time registration, and piece counting. Each fork communicates the weight lifted with the weight indicator in the cabin via Bluetooth. The weighing system is powered by robust, exchangeable battery modules that can be ordered separately. Accuracy is 0.1% of the weight lifted. Capacity is up to 2500kg (steps 10kg) or up to 5000kg (steps 20kg).

Diesel Particle Filter PCSM041 This filter eliminates the soot in the exhaust by 99%. A display unit on the dashboard indicates the backpressure situation. By pressing a button on the display, the filter regeneration starts with use of diesel from the standard tank, no additives are needed. A history folder logs date/time, together with backpressure and temperatures. The regeneration needs to be done after 6-8 hours of engine operation and takes approximately 10-15 minutes. Note: Not available with UPSA.

Airconditioning (Cabin) PCSM047

This air-conditioning, only in combination with STL/D Panel cabin and FTCAB, has a 7.5kW heating and 3.8kW cooling capacity and is integrated in the dashboard. A switch is located on the dashboard to turn the AC on and off. There is an adjustable outlet in the foot area and to the front window screen. This option is CE certified with the complete truck and cabin and provides the CE required fresh air through an opening in the right hand door.

Biodegradable Hydraulic Oil (+ Filter) PCSM048 This environmental friendly hydraulic oil reduces the potential damage to the environment. In case this hydraulic fluid is leaked into the ground, it has the ability of substance to be digested or consumed by naturally occurring microorganisms present in water, air and soil systems. This option will be delivered with a silica gel breathing filter to prevent water vapor to have access to the oil. Contamination or mix with mineral oil products needs to be prevented. This is one of the options contributing to the green image of the truck. Oil spec: Shell Naturelle HF-E 32

Food Grade oil PCSM039 Food grade oil is synthetic hydraulic oil especially developed for use in machinery used in the food- and beverage related processing plants and packaging industry. Swivel Plate Seat( Mech lock) PCSM049 This option allows the driver to rotate the seat 20 degrees while driving backwards. The locking mechanism is placed underneath, at the front of the seat.

Swivel Plate Seat( Wire handle lock) PCSM050 This option allows the driver to rotate the seat 20 degrees while driving backwards. The Handle lock is mounted on the Armrest. Note: This option is only available on the Fingertip Controlled (FC) models.

Low LPG Fuel Indicator PCSM053 An indicator will signal when the LPG pressure becomes low. At that moment replacement of the LPG tank is needed. This system is less accurate compared to the LPG Fuel meter.

Shift inhibiter / traction control LPG PCSM054 This system prevents direction changes at high speed and high rpm, as well as high rpm standing starts. This saves money on tires, but also prevents potential gearbox damage. Next to this it prevents wheel spinning allowing the machine to make progress on slippery floor conditions. Shift inhibiter / traction control Diesel PCSM055 This is the same as the LPG version, but the diesel truck needs the option EDC to make this Shift inhibiter work.

5V/PX ( 5-way piping) PCSM056 Available from factory, fully equipped trucks with 5V hydraulic control. With this option the carriage is provided with three addional hydraulic groups. In case the truck is used with a complicated attachment, sideshifting clamp, or side shifting forkpositioner with load stabilisor, this kind of option is required. Note: 5V hydraulic control on the truck is required.

The option is usefull when truck is handling extreme long loads like carped industry and applications where the load is clamped like in the paper industry. In this case there is no risk load is slipping from the forks the driving behaviour of the operator is not restricted by this risk.
