Little Red Riding Hood was a girl who decided to take some treats to her Grandmother who lived on the other side of the woods. Along the way she met a Wolf who asked lots of questions. When she arrived at her Grandmother’s house, Little Red found the wolf dressed up as her Grandmother, trying to trick her. Little Red cried for help and the Wolf was scared away by a woodsman.

Reminder: A summary doesn’t include all the details, just the main parts.

Summarize means to tell the most important parts of a text.For example to summarize the story of Little Red Riding Hood.

They come across many challenges such as fire, quicksand and wild animals. They end up being successful and report back to their Dad that the mission was successful.
