Symmetry Symmetry is – hands down – one of our favourite spots for English breakfast. Big breakfast, a fry-up, the Full Works, the Full Monty – call it whatever you like, the English breakfast

never disappoints. A solid choice for brunch in Singapore

Symmetry

Symmetry is – hands down – one of our favourite spots for English breakfast. Portions are huge here

(good luck trying to �nish the Big Breakfast all by yourself), so it’s no surprise that we never leave this

Quirky café-by-day, bar-by-night; right across the street from us is Free The Robot. On slow days, we

like to pop by for breakfast to tuck into the massive breakfast platter with all the comfort food

�xings. And, if you’re lucky, you’ll get to meet their mascot pup, Bailey!

The White Rabbit Fry Up (via Facebook)

The White Rabbit

A go-to romantic ‘date night’ restaurant, this stunning establishment is housed in a conserved chapel,

and exudes an elegant old-world charm with a touch of modern sensibility. But date night is not all

it’s known for though; brunch is a decadent a�air, especially with its hearty White Rabbit Fry

Up, which o�ers two eggs done any style, served with bacon, hashbrowns, two eggs and sausages.

Nestled in the forested cranny of Dempsey Hill, what used to be a British military barracks has now

been refashioned into a whimsical dining space known as House at Dempsey. A plethora of brunch

bites are available – but if you need to get through a hangover or are just plain starving, order up the

Housefull Breakfast, and you’ll feast on two eggs in any style, roasted tomatoes, pork sausage, bacon,

portobello mushroom, baked beans and a cheddar scone with sourdough toast. It’s incredibly

popular for brunch, so make your weekend reservations early to avoid disappointment!

comes with bacon, two sunny side up eggs, a pair of sausages, beans, mushroom and hashbrowns.

Get your English breakfast �x at The Providore’s PasarBella outlet, and don’t forget to order a Bloody

Mary to go along with it. The multi-concept venue also houses a bakery and a host of indie grocers,

so go shop for some fresh buns and gourmet products after tucking into the sinful combination of

eggs, grilled bacon, pork sausage, and sautéed mushrooms ($20.50).

Full Works over here) – a signature Wild Honey dish.

Here, you can choose between the Basic Works (eggs, bacon, bread), House Works (Basic Works, plus

hashbrowns and cherry tomato salad), and the Full Works (garlic mushrooms… mmm). Of course, we

say go all out and get the Full Works. If you’re getting stu�ed in the Singapore Botanic Gardens

outlet, take a stroll in nature after to walk o� the guilt!

The plates at Comman Man Co�ee Roasters are as Instagram-worthy as it gets. Snap away at the

Common Man Full Breakfast, which consists of two free-range organic eggs (in any style you want),

back bacon, sausage, grilled tomatoes, chorizo baked beans, chorizo hashbrowns, Portobello

mushrooms, and sourdough toast.

While away your Sunday at PS.Cafe’s picture-perfect Dempsey outlet (our favourite of the

various outlets). The PS. Big Breakfast comes with two eggs (poached, fried, or scrambled – your

choice), oven-roasted tomato, beef sausage (or chorizo, if you like), crispy smoked bacon, homemade

baked beans, basil pesto and buttered toast. Heavy, but worth it!

Arbite

Arbite’s been around for quite some time now, so they must be doing something right! It’s easy to get

distracted by the other interesting choices on the menu (liu sha French toast, anyone?), but the

Arbite full English breakfast will always have our vote.

One of the more wallet-friendly choices on this list is Lola’s Full Monty Breakfast. For $16, you get

juicy pork sausages, honey bacon, pork ham, scrambled eggs, brioche bread, and a garden salad with

balsamic dressing.

Drury Lane

This quaint cafe along Tanjong Pagar Road o�ers sizeable (all-day) breakfast platters. The Big 94

beans, mushrooms and turkey bacon.
