Envision provides an enhanced theatre experience for visually impaired young people

Students aged 11-18 have the chance to attend a West End matinee supported by a morning of stimulating activities that help them engage with the performance. For 2010-2011 the productions are The Railway Children and Legally Blonde.

THE DAY INCLUDES:

n 90-minute workshop led by trained theatre educators, with practical exercises offering an introduction to the production

n Touch tour exploring the set, props and costumes up close

n Audio described* performance with best seats at front of stalls

n A chance to meet other young people with visual impairment

IN ADDITION:

n Young people receive a special CD to prepare them for their theatre visit

n Accompanying adults receive a Resource Pack
