The Sabah International Convention Centre will be the main centre for convention activities and development of the MICE industry in the State.

KPJ Group acquired Sabah Medical Centre (SMC) and KPJ is building a new RM250 million, 200 bed hospital on a 1.685 acre land. The land is bought over by KPJ and this is a 100% private investment. The new SMC-KPJ hospital is only five minutes to Greater Kota Kinabalu

Full Paying Patients is a separate category of patients for both outpatient and inpatient services. The charges will be based on the cost and there is no subsidy. FFP will use existing facilities within the hospital. The targets are locals and foreigners including tourists and expatriates.
