This document provides you with information on:
• our negotiated preferential rates for ETSI Delegates and Experts with selected hotels and apart’ hotels in the area
• transport options, including public transport by bus, car rental and taxis. Should you find that information is no longer correct, we would welcome your feedback. Please send your comments to [email protected]
To benefit from preferential rates please: Always mention ETSI upon your reservation: • Contact the hotel or apart hotel to check availability;
• Make all reservations in your own name, directly with the hotel or apart hotel
• Do not use intermediary (e.g. travel agency or airline company internet booking);
• Fill in the "Hotel booking form" and send it back to the hotel of your choice;
• Check that the room rates correspond to those negotiated by ETSI as displayed in the list.
NOTE: The ETSI negotiated rates may not apply during high season and for special events period.
All rates are inclusive of VAT. There is also a tourist tax applicable in some hotels.
Cancellation Policy:
Should you need to cancel your booking, please
• inform the hotel or apart hotel by phone or by email as soon as possible and at least 24 hours in
advance;
• keep your cancellation registration number for future reference.
Please note that the ETSI Secretariat is not able to make reservations on your behalf and cannot be
held responsible for any cancellations or "no shows". ETSI is not responsible for any no show or
cancellation fees if applicable.
A word of advice The Sophia Antipolis area has been developed with a high regard for the environment. On rainy days, journeys from the local hotels to ETSI’s premises can be rather uncomfortable for walkers as the roads may be slippery.

Bus services A direct shuttle bus service, SOPHIA-EXPRESS no. 230 (https://www.departement06.fr/actualites-transport/14324-ligne-230-nice-sophia-18582.html), runs between Nice Airport and Sophia Antipolis. It goes via the motorway and takes between 20 to 45 minutes depending on traffic conditions. Cost: 1.50 €. If you have more than one item of luggage, please refer to the pricelist displayed in the bus. The bus stop closest to the airport is located on the Promenade des Anglais outside Terminal 1. The bus stop to Sophia Antipolis is located on the other side of the Promenade; hence you need to cross by passing under a bridge and going up a flight of stairs. The bus stop closest to ETSI is Sophie Laffite, 2 minutes’ walk to ETSI. How to get to the bus stop from the ETSI main building: Nice and Valbonne (line 230) When leaving the ETSI main building, turn left, and then go down the road to reach the bus stop on the opposite side. Note: This bus stop serves buses going in both directions! Therefore, please check with the driver which direction his bus is going. Antibes (lines 1 and 9) When leaving the ETSI main building turn left, then go down the road and take the bus stop on the same side (without crossing the road). The time table for buses serving Antibes is available via the following link: www.envibus.fr Cannes (line 630 and 630S) If you wish to go to Cannes from ETSI, you need first to go to the Sophia Antipolis main bus station and from there take bus line 630. To get to the main bus station you can take lines 1 or 9 in the direction of Sophia Antipolis Gare routière. From Cannes to get to ETSI, take the bus 630 S (itinerary S) to Sophia Antipolis Gare routière, then take lines 1 or 9 to the closest bus stop closest to ETSI which is Sophie Laffite.
