Modelling- Basic C-

• I completed my questionnaire on ‘Survey Monkey’ and discovered that more females than males completed my questionnaire. I have decided to create a magazine for women as a result.

Success Criteria

There is ‘basic’ research with limited explanation of similar products and potential target audience; (C-)

Page 22: Evaluation lesson mer

Modelling- Proficient B

• I completed my questionnaire on ‘Survey Monkey’ and discovered that 7/30 were male and 23/30 were female. As a result of the research undertaken I have decided to create my music magazine with women as my target audience.

Success Criteria

There is ‘proficient’ (capable) research with explanation into similar products and a potential target audience; (B)

Page 23: Evaluation lesson mer

Modelling- Excellent A/A*

Using ‘Survey Monkey’ I created and distributed a pre-construction questionnaire to inform my final production. Once I compiled my results, I discovered that 7/30 males and 23/30 females completed my questionnaire. As a result of the information gathered, I have decided to create my music magazine with women as my target demographic between the ages of 25-34 because the results from the questionnaire proved that females between 16-24 buy magazines rarely and I would like my magazine to be distributed and sold monthly with a regular readership.

Success Criteria

There is ‘excellent’ (detailed/ in depth) research and analysis into similar products and a potential target audience. (A)

Questionnaire Results Analysis

Excellent (A)

‘Excellent’ (detailed/ in depth) research and analysis.

Proficient (B)

‘Proficient’ research and explanation.

Basic (C-)

‘Basic’ research and limited explanation.

Can you analyse the results for three of the questions from your questionnaire?

Remember, use the connectives and to get a B/ A grade you need to show clear, detailed and in-depth analysis of your results.

Most importantly, how will your results impact on the choices that you will make in your final production (music magazine).
