How did you intergrate technologies - software, hardware and online - in this project?

Stepping stones for making my project!

> Internet being the most useful and helpful out of all the technologies that i've used, my research and planning was entirely dependant on it. If it wasn't the internet, i'd still be stuck on lets say the idea of making a 5 minute film.

> All hail the websites mighty internet introduced me to. IMDB and Wikipedia was of major help since I got the links to director profiles, official movie websites, Cast and crew details even the genre classification of the movie I was researching upon. And the film synopsis too.

> Since I chose the genre romantic comedy, lots and lots of research was needed to understand the forms and conventions of genre since comedy is something hard to work with.

What happens aft er research?

After collecting all the necessary details and information, I compiled it under relevant categories such as Director Research, Genre Analysis, Film References etc. But I didn't just compile the information, I actually found creative ways to present them. Since softwares such as powerpoint and Word are too cliche, I thought of something else and came across a really cool website for online presentation named EMAZE. Where one can make visually stunning presentations with provided templates also, we can turn them into Three-Dimensional presentations.

I also used Slideshare to upload some of the files including most of my pre-production work. I also used google docs to make my audience research questionaire.

Moving on to the Pre-Production Stage..

> This was the most crucial stage of all because my entire movie was based on what I did in pre-production. That is writing the film concept, Film treatment, Screenplay, Postcard analysis and what not. So keeping everything simple I used microsoft word to write most of the things and later I uploaded them to slideshare, whereas I used powerpoint for making the website and postcard analysis whereas I used Final Draft for writing my movie's screenplay.

Now production..The use of technology for making my movie was huge It played the miost important role and without it I couldn't have accomplished anything at all.

The camera that I used for shooting my movie was Canon 700D with and 18-55 mm lens. The editing software used for editing the entire film was Adobe Premiere CS6.Royalty free Sound effects and music was taken from WWW.FREESFX.CO.UK
