What have you learnt about technologies from the process of
constructing this product?
SLR CAMERA
I used this camera to take the images of my two photo shoots- the front page and the double page spread.
-This created a more professional and clear effect to my images. -Making them crisp and clear was important as it made the whole magazine look more finished.
PhotoshopI used the computer programme Photoshop throughout my front cover, and contents page. Photoshop can edit photographs to a high standard and insert text.
I used Photoshop to add relevant images and text onto the contents page.
It enabled me to change the colour, size and font of texts to make it more appealing.
I added a transparent box and put text in it to add more structure to my contents page.
For my front cover I was able to use an image from my photo shoot as the full background and layer it up with informative text.
PublisherI used publisher to do my double page spread as it is easier to create columns and create a more professional magazine feel. Publisher enabled me to
use one of my images from my photo shoot as the whole background of my double page spread.
I was able to insert structured columns onto my double page spread image that created a professional and finished feel.
I was able to use a different size font in-between text to make certain quotes stand out- to create a more
interesting article.
I was able to change the colour and size of text to create a bold heading and tag line.
Internet, Blogger, Slideshare
I used the internet to focus my intention and to find examples of magazines that I could work towards creating mine like- credible research.
I used blogger to blog my ideas, development and evaluation.
I used slide share to group together my evaluation answer in a more interesting and easy on the eye way to read.
