Evaluation
7. Looking back at your preliminary task, what do you feel you have learnt in
progression from it to the full product?
Front Cover• I have definitely learnt how to
use Photoshop more effectively and how to use colours that compliment each other as well as the background.
• Compared to my first front cover my second one has a lot more going on, on it for example the banner and the skyline as well as the issue number, barcode and price. I also think the layout of it is better as it has cover lines on both sides of image.
• The mise en scene to my media product was also thought about more the second time round as before the photo shoot I decided to find someone who could represent my genre rather than just asking the first person I could find.• The fonts that I used on my front cover are a lot bolder and more complimenting to a magazine cover line. I think this
because it is clearer for people to read it.
Contents Page• Looking back at my
preliminary task I think my contents page improved as it looks more professional.
• In my second attempt I changed the font and the colour of the page numbers.
• I also added boxes for my features and regulars an the title.
• I kept the idea of 3 columns however I decided to group the pictures together to make less breaks in the text.
• I also added what the article would be about in a smaller font under the main information
