India on 7th September

2019. This campaign

was conducted in

MNIT campus itself.

Under this campaign,

NSS organised two

events namely Slogan

Writing Competition

and Essay Writing

Competition. Around

60 participants

participated in both

Medical teams from

various hospitals like

S.M.S. , Durlabhji

(SMDH), Mahatma

Gandhi, Apex and few

others did the blood

collection & other

tests. Director sir also

visited the camp which

was highly

appreciated.

WASTE FREE

CAMPAIGN under

“Swachhata Hi Seva”

India, remembering

our venerable father of

nation, M.K. Gandhi

(BAPU), and led a

strong step towards

making this nature free

of plastic waste on the

special occasion of

150th birth anniversary

of Mahatma Gandhi on

2nd October 2019.

volunteers conducted a

PLASTIC

DRIVE across the

campus headed by our

bestowed alumni ,Mr.

The movie showcased

the different life

aspects of DR A.P.J

Abdul Kalam,

incentivizing students

to never give up in

what they believe and

to trying to find

solutions of the root

problem rather than

removing them from

the surface.

21st October, 2019.

The fest was set in

by a Lamp Lighting

Ceremony where Prof

UdaykumarR

Yaragatti, the

the crowd. It was

followed by the

screening of the oscar

winning movie- “The

King’s Speech”. The

zest was carried on

for the second day

with events like

Treasure Hunt and

Bollywood Quiz. The

third day began with

Kavya-Mehfil and the

shayari competition.

In continuation with

it, the invited author -

Mr. Himanshu Goel

organized a book talk

event where he shared

his journey of

becoming a writer.

The event concluded

with the distribution

of the signed copies

of his book - A

Rational Boy In

Love. This was

followed by another

event, Toggle. The

third day came to a

contended end with

the Open Mic event.

The final day set off

with the Spell Bee

competition and One

Liners competition.

#LitFest'19, a four

day venture onto a

path never traversed,

was a great hit.
