a world-class location in Washington, D.C., and a virtual presence around the world, the navy memorial celebrates the camaraderie of service at sea. We offer navy, marine Corps, Coast guard and merchant marine veterans ways to reconnect with each other and preserve the memory of their service.

as the “Quarterdeck of the navy” in Washington, D.C., the navy memorial serves as the official ceremonial center for the men and women of the Sea Services. We provide a fitting venue to recognize important milestones in service members’ careers and a place for them to tell their stories.

as a maritime nation, the United States is reliant on the freedom of the seas. The memorial provides a forum to educate the public about the contributions of those who provide the maritime security that has fueled our nation’s growth and prosperity.
