1.1.1 A9112 Micro Node B ConfigurationThe Micro Node B is an evolution of the existing EVOLIUM A9100 MBS NodeB. The Micro Node B extends the present product family by a very smallhousing and has the same equipment practice and external physical dimensionas GSM A9110-E Micro BTS (M5M).

The Micro Node B support following features:

Two antenna connections. One antenna port ANT A with transmitter/receiver(7,5 W/TRX max. power) and one antenna port ANT B with receiver (RX)only.

Receive diversity ( no transmitter diversity)

    Up to three carriers (3 * 2,5 W)

    VSWR detection

    Four E1 Transmission lines.

    External interfaces for alarms input.

    1 Overview

    1.1.3 Initial State

The Micro Node B MOCO is installed according to [ 14 ] EVOLIUM A9112 Micro Node B Installation Manual .

The Micro Node B unit (MNB) are not plugged into the MOCO.

Antennas and feeders are installed and tested (including VSWR).

MNB is provisioned (from UTRAN OMC-R) according to [ 15 ] Add Evolium Node .

E1 direct connection to RNC is installed and tested, or Data CommunicationNetwork (backbone) is configured, to allow to test the O&M connectionbetween Micro Node B and UTRAN OMC-R.

For O1 Options (Section 1.1.6) , the Fan hat is installed and connected, according to [ 14 ] EVOLIUM A9112 Micro Node B Installation Manual .

For O2 Options (Section 1.1.6) , the Site Support Cabinet (SSC) is installedand connected, according to [ 16 ] Site Support Cabinet For A9110/A9110-E Installation Manual .

    1.1.4 Final State

Micro Node B is installed, powered and an inventory file is done.

Micro Node B is "disabled" and "locked", without current alarm.

UMTS modules inside the Micro Node B are "enabled" and "unlocked",without current alarm .

UTRAN site specific parameters are set.

Node B communication state is "on line" (ready to be managed by theUTRAN OMC-R).

Node B is ready for radio network introduction, without another on-siteintervention.

Do not work under power.Open the circuit breakers to be sure that the power supply is disconnected, except during use of the crane. Before using the crane, you must carefully read the [ 13 ] A910 Crane HW description manual and these instructions .

It is strictly prohibited to stand under a floating crane load during theoperation.

Hot surface warning : Dont handle the crane by its motor after use, thetemperature can exceed 45 degrees Celsius (see left, " Hot Surface "label on the crane).

Check availability of the completed " Security control - check list and report" , enclosed with the crane (see " [ 13 ] A910 Crane HW description manual ") thecheck must be carried out every six months , note the check date in the CCL.

2.2.3.2 Installation of the Crane on MOFRA

Procedure 1. Check that the lifting ring and the two screws for fixing to MOFRA areavailable.

The following checks and precautions must be considered before craning!Depending of the country and customer regulations more tests foroverloading and usage time may be required. To be checked and applied!

Procedure 1. Check the screws securing the MOCO on the wall.

    2. Define a safety area 2 m around the MOFRA and make sure that nobody will

enter the area during operations.3. Move the unit under the crane on the floor.

    4. Remove the Micro Node B unit protection cover (BTSP 3BK 08555 ABAA),see Figure 9

    5. Remove the COBO protection cover (COPO 3BK 08586 ABAA), seeFigure 12 .

    6. Close the circuit breakers that power COBO.

    7. Using the switching box on the crane power cable, let down the lifting bandto the MNB level.
