Pete  Harrison  

Pete  Harrison,  and  go  by  the  alias  ‘aeiko’  which  is  pronounced  ‘eye-­‐ko’.  Ever  since  he  was  younger  he  was  crea#ve  and  wanted  to  follow  this  direc#on  in  life.  When  he  was  12  he  wanted  to  be  a  graphic  designer.  

Knowing  this  he  was  able  to  tailor  his  educa#on  around  what  he  wanted  to  become.  At  school  he  studied  art  and  design,  same  at  A-­‐Level.  He  went  to  University  and  studied  MediaLab  Arts.  These  4  years  of  his  life  can  best  be  

described  as  only  a  metaphor.  

I  chose  to  look  at  the  work  of  Pete  Harrison  because  I  wanted  to  study  an  illustrator  that  can  use  a  human  or  an  object  and  really  bring  them  to  life  by  using  a  range  of  different  ways  and  techniques.  I  like  the  way  that  he  

uses  colours  to  bring  out  an  object  or  a  human  in  his  work,  also  the  colours  are  mainly  bright  so  that  they  brighten  up  the  image.    

Pete  Harrison  uses  a  range  of  different  media’s  to  create  his  outcomes.  Some#mes  he  uses  objects  but  most  of  the  #me  he  uses  human  beings.  I  think  that  he  works  in  no  specific  #me  period  because  in  one  of  his  works  he  uses  an  old  Chinese  style  background  and  a  person  wearing  karate  

clothes,  this  makes  this  piece  of  work  look  old.  But  in  another  piece  of  his  work  he  is  adver#sing  a  modern  drink,  this  shows  that  it  is  modern.    

So  with  all  this  informa#on  that  I  have  gathered  I  am  going  to  try  and  implement  this  into  my  final  model.    

Wojciech  Magierski  

Wojciech  Magierski  aka  m4gik.  He  is  a  graphic  designer  from  Poland.  He  lives  in  Cracow  a  Polish  City.  His  passion  is  crea#ng  and  designing  graphic.  He  says  that  it's  my  job  and  I  love  it.  I'm  especially  focused  on  photo  manipula#on  and  illustra#on.  

I  chose  to  look  at  Wojciech  Magierski  because  I  wanted  to  study  an  illustrator  that  would  help  me  to  use  life  elements,  such  as  natural  materials  so  that  I  can  include  it  in  my  prep  

work  or  final  outcome  and  also  by  looking  at  his  work  it  allows  me  to  look  at  my  work  differently  and  create  new  ideas  from  that.  I  like  the  way  he  uses  raw  materials  like  trees  or  statues  

and  brings  them  to  life.      

Wojciech  Magierski  uses  a  wide  range  of  media  in  his  work  that  combine  photography  and  images.  The  #me  age  or  style  that  he  looks  like  he  works  with  is  Greek  Mythology.  I  say  this  because  his  work  looks  old  and  quiet  stony.  I  like  this  because  I  

could  use  this  style  inside  of  my  work.
