Exodus 34 1 And the Lord said unto Moses, Hew thee two tables of stone like unto the first: and I will write upon these tables the Words that were in the first tables, which thou brakestwhich thou brakest. 2 And be ready in the morning, and come up in the morning unto mount Sinai, and present thyself there to Me in the top of the mount.

3 And no man shall come up with thee, neither let any man be seen throughout all the mount; neither let the flocks nor herds feed before that mount. 4And he hewed two tables of stone like unto the first; and Moses rose up earlyrose up early in the morning, and went up unto mount Sinai, as the Lord had as the Lord had commanded himcommanded him, and took in his hand the two tables of stone.

5 And the Lord descended in the cloud, and stood with him there, and proclaimed the NameName of the Lord. 6 And the Lord passed by before him, and proclaimed, The Lord, The Lord God, Merciful and Gracious, Longsuffering, and abundant in Goodness and Truth, 7 Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and to the fourth generation.

8 And Moses made haste, and bowed his head toward the earth, and worshipped.

God blessed Moses, proclaiming unto him

The Name of the Lord.

6b The Lord, The Lord God, Merciful and Gracious, Longsuffering, and abundant in Goodness and Truth,

It was an automatic reflexautomatic reflex for Moses to fall on his face and worship God for this blessing.

Everything that is good comes down from God.James 1:17

Sunrise, a job to go to, a meal, a bed and time to

sleep, a roof when it rains, air conditioning, heat, a

sweet woman, a good man, a measure of health,

The Word of God, The Holy Spirit, A calling or

spiritual gift, good music, godly teaching

9 And he said, If now I have found grace in Thy sight, O Lord, let my Lord, I pray thee, go among us; for it is a stiff-necked people; and pardon our iniquity and our sin, and take us for Thine inheritance.

"Lord, don't leave us now."

"I know we are stiff-necked and sinful, but please, don't leave us now."

The saddestsaddest thing that can happen to any person is the lossloss of fellowship with God.

We can endureendure any hardship or persecution with joy and strengthjoy and strength,

As long as we have a strong sense of camaraderiecamaraderie with our Lord.

God gave us this promise in Hebrews 13:5Hebrews 13:5

"I will never leave thee nor forsake thee."

And then He said,

"Therefore Be Content."When our heartheart is in the right place, we willwe will be

content in God's Presence,

No matter what the circumstances.

When our heart is out of fellowshipout of fellowship with God,

We will notnot be content, no matter what.

Show me a discontented persondiscontented person, and I will show you a person whose fellowship with Godfellowship with God

Is broken by sin.

Sins of commissioncommission, such as murder, gossip, fornication, lust, stealing, coveting.

God is longing to restorerestore that fellowship and to be reconciledreconciled with every man or woman.

9 And he said, If now I have found grace in thy sight, O Lord, let my Lord, I pray thee, go among go among usus; for it is a stiff-necked people; and pardonpardon our iniquity and our sin, and take ustake us for thine inheritance.

That's how we seekseek and findfind reconciliationreconciliation and restorationrestoration

into God's Favor.

Total openness, honesty

The following verses teach us how to maintainmaintain our fellowship with God.

God gave Moses instructionsinstructions for the future, and told him to followfollow those instructions.

John 15 14 Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.

10 And He said, Behold, I make a covenant: before all thy people I will do marvels, such as have not been done in all the earth, nor in any nation: and all the people among which thou art shall see the Work of the Lord: for it is a terrible thing that I will do with theewith thee.

God is promising to work withwork with and empowerempower the Israelites to do mightymighty and fearsomefearsome things.

11 Observe (take heed) thou (unto) that which I command thee this day: behold, I drive out before thee the Amorite, and the Canaanite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, and the Hivite, and the Jebusite.

"Do what I'm telling you to do."

"I will empower you to drive outdrive out the "Ite"

brothers, as longas long as you obey Me.

God has promised uspromised us the same thing.

Whatever the battlebattle you have to fight,

Whatever the jobjob God has called you to do,

Simply obey GodSimply obey God one step at a timeone step at a time in in allall things things,

He will give you victoryvictory and successsuccess!

Believe it enoughenough to do it wholeheartedly.

Embrace EveryEvery Word of God.

EagerlyEagerly obey in anticipation of success.Reluctance, resentment, and resistance will blockwill block

all the blessings God has for us.

EmbracingEmbracing God's Way with enthusiasmenthusiasm will ensureensure victory and success in our walk with God.

If there is a distancedistance between you and The Lord,

If you are not enjoying the contentmentcontentment that comescomes with God's Close Presence,

OpenlyOpenly and and fullyfully and and honestlyhonestly repent. repent.

If you are in fellowshipin fellowship with God today, do all to maintainmaintain that fellowship.

Obey EveryEvery Word of God with joyjoy and enthusiasmenthusiasm.
