Young Adults:

A new Faith and Life study group for Young Adults will be starting on Monday January 7th at 7:00pm. Our first meeting will be at Panera (309 South Duff Ave). We will use a curriculum from Cokesbury called FaithLink which highlights current issues and events and explores our faith guides us to interact with the world around us. The weekly topics are sent by email and include discussion questions and activ-ities. If you are interested in joining, please con-tact Pastor Bethany at [email protected].

The Journey: Walking the Road to Bethlehem

Last Wednesday, November 14th, our Advent “journey” studied Joseph of Bethlehem through viewing the DVD, group

discussions, bible study, crafts and games. We took a closer

look at the person Joseph probably was by looking into his

profession, his character and his faith and what impact he

must have had on Jesus as the earthly father of God’s son.

We will not be meeting this Wednesday, November 21st due to the Thanksgiving holiday. We will resume our whole group

advent study on November 28th learning more about

Elizabeth, the relative of Mary. December 5th will be looking

into Mary & Joseph’s journey from Nazareth to Bethlehem

and December 12th will be the final sesson with a lesson over The Manger. For more information about this all ages study,

contact Nicole: [email protected] or

Pastor Bethany: [email protected]
