eye areasurgery Over the years, genetics, age and sun combine to damage our skin and cause unwanted folds of skin creating a hooded look over the eye and bags of skin that hold fat under the eye.

Eyelid surgery (or blepharoplasty) can be performed on either the upper or lower eyelids.

procedure & expectations

The excess skin above the eyes is removed by Laser or through conventional surgery. Once this skin is removed it allows the eye to appear more open and for women it allows a platform to properly apply makeup

lower blepharoplasty

The unsightly bags under the eyes are generally not caused by fluid but rather by fat pads. There have the effect of making eyes look tired and not having slept.

procedure & expectations

The preferred method of treating the lower eyelid is to remove the fat pads from the inside of the eyelid, to avoid an external scar. Any excess skin in the lower eyelid can be removed. Dark circles under the eyes can be also be treated by Laser.

recovery Recovery time is generally between seven to ten days. Any bruising or swelling usually settles down within a few days.

upper blepharoplasty

An Upper Eyelid Surgery removes the loose hood of excess skin from the upper eyelid. A younger and ‘less tired’ look can be achieved simply by removing this skin.

The Septoplasty procedure straightens the cartilage wall to optimise breathing function and also ensure a straighter cartilage wall between the nostrils.

recovery After these procedures there may be some swelling and bruising under the eyes but this should go away in around seven days. The plaster splint and sutures are removed after seven days.

Rhinoplasty Rhinoplasty

Because no single person has two identical ears, the procedure is not designed to give patients symmetrical or identical ears.

This procedure involves making an incision at the back of the ear and the cartilage is then modified to adjust the protrusion or size to suit the patient’s individual needs.

recovery After your procedure some bruising and swelling around the ears may occur but this usually settle in seven days. Sutures are generally removed in seven to ten days or dissolve over a period of time.

A headband is supplied and is worn for between one to two weeks, and then it is only worn at nights for further support for four to eight weeks.
