Set Up a Facebook Account• Go to www.facebook.com
Setting up a Facebook Account is a profile – NOT a business page
• On a profile you cannot promote your business.
• It’s against Facebook terms and conditionsto promote it.
• You cannot run Facebooks ads with a profile only.
• You cannot use analytics for tracking.
Why should you be moving to timeline for your business?
February 29th, Facebook announced that Timeline is now available for Pages.
You have 30 days to activate Timeline before it automatically happens on March 30.

Set Up Your Timeline
Go to the bottom of your profile. If you don’t have a profile you can go to www.facebook.com and click on that link at the bottom of the page.
Adding your logo or profile picture
• You can add your logo or picture• Square Profile Picture• At least 180 px wide• Maximum width 600 x 200
Adding a Cover Photo• The Timeline Cover Photo displays an
851 x 315 pixel banner across thetop of your Page.
