Thanks to the acquisition of two companies active in the field of processing of non hazardous urban and special waste in Gorle (italy), falck renewables which was already present in this field with the Trezzo sull’adda, Granarolo dell’emilia and fusina wTe plants (italy), now can offer a greater integration in waste disposal and increase its offerings in environmental services to the community.in line with the industrial plan, the company intends to optimise its existing operational waste to energy plants and is monitoring other growing markets in europe.

The Rende power plant, which sources only local biomass, produces a saving of 20,000 tonnes of oil equivalent (TOE)or 158,000 barrelsof oil per year.
