The Apostles’ Creed I believe in God the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth:

And in Jesus Christ His only Son, our Lord; Who was conceived by the Holy Ghost,

born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried;

He descended into hell; the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God, the Father Almighty;

from thence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, the

forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.

The LORD’s Prayer Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be your name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread,

forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

For thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Amen

In Christ Alone In Christ alone my hope is found, He is my light, my strength, my song This Cornerstone, this solid Ground Firm through the fiercest drought and storm. What heights of love, what depths of peace When fears are stilled, when strivings cease My Comforter, my All in All Here in the love of Christ I stand. In Christ alone! - who took on flesh, Fullness of God in helpless babe. This gift of love and righteousness, Scorned by the ones He came to save Till on that cross as Jesus died, The wrath of God was satisfied For every sin on Him was laid Here in the death of Christ I live.

There in the ground His body lay, Light of the world by darkness slain: Then bursting forth in glorious day Up from the grave He rose again And as He stands in victory Sin's curse has lost its grip on me, For I am His and He is mine Bought with the precious blood of Christ No guilt in life, no fear in death, This is the power of Christ in me From life's first cry to final breath, Jesus commands my destiny No power of hell, no scheme of man, Can ever pluck me from His hand Till He returns or calls me home Here in the power of Christ I'll stand

Sermon Notes / Activity Unequally Yoked

2 Corinthians 6:14-18 14 Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has

righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? 15 What accord has Christ with Belial?[a] Or what portion does a believer share with an

unbeliever? 16 What agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God; as God said,

“I will make my dwelling among them and walk among them, and I will be their God,

and they shall be my people. 17 Therefore go out from their midst,

and be separate from them, says the Lord, and touch no unclean thing; then I will welcome you,

18 and I will be a father to you, and you shall be sons and daughters to me,

says the Lord Almighty.”

Draw a picture of something you remember from our sermon today:

Be Thou My Vision Be Thou my vision oh LORD of my heart

Naught be all else to Thee save that Thou art My best thought by day or by night

Waking or sleeping Thy presence my light

Be Thou my wisdom And Thou my true word

I ever with Thee and Thou with me, LORD Thou my great Father, I thy true son

Thou in me dwelling, and I with Thee one

Riches I heed not or man’s empty praise Thou mine inheritance now and always

Thou and Thou only first in my heart High King of heaven, my treasure Thou art

High King of heaven, my victory won

May I reach heaven’s joys, O bright Heaven’s Son Heart of my own heart, whatever befall

Still be my Vision, O Ruler of all
