The Bundesliga – an invention of Franz Krämer

The German football league is called “Bundesliga” and it celebrates its 50

th anniversary this

year. Football is the most popular sport in Germany.

There are 18 clubs. You play twice against every team. Each season starts on July 1st and ends

on June 30th

. During the first two months of a season and during the first month of a year, you

can buy and sell football players.

The first winner of the Bundesliga was the 1.FC Köln in

the season 1963/1964. The president of Köln was Franz

Krämer who invented the Bundesliga. Friedhelm

Konietzka shot the first goal. He played for Dortmund.

Bayern München won the league 23 times. The only team

that has always played in the first league, is Hamburger

SV.

The picture on the left shows Friedhelm Konietzka after

his goal.

The highest result was 12:0 for Borussia

Mönchengladbach against Borussia Dortmund in

the season 1977/1978.

Jupp Heynckes shot five goals in this match. He

just finished his career as the coach of Bayern

München this year.

The player who has played the most matches is Charly Körbel (picture

on the right). He played for Eintracht Frankfurt 602 times. He was also

part of the team that won the World Cup in 1974.

Gerd Müller shot 365 goals in 427 matches for Bayern München.

So far, 5431 men have played in the 50 years of the Bundesliga.

From the second league to the champions league :

AS Monaco

AS Monaco is a traditional, French football team. The official name

of Monaco is Association Sportive de Monaco Football Club and it was

founded in 1919. Monaco is one of the most successful clubs in

France.

They have won seven league titles and five Coupe de France trophies,

but they have never won an European title.

In 1992 they were in the final of the UEFA Cup Winners Cup and in

2004 they played the final of the Champions League.

Then came a bad time for the football club. In the season of 2011/12

they were relegated in the second league (ligue 2) and got some

serious money problems.

But in December 2011, a Russian billionaire came to Monaco and

bought two-thirds of the club. So they were able to buy new players.

In the last season, they became 1st and next season, they’re going to

play in the first league again.

Now they have bought some world stars: Radamel Falcao, Joao

Moutinho, James Rodríguez and Ricardo Carvalho for 120 – 130

million euro. With these players they will be one of the best teams

next year. Maybe they will get European title.

The history of football

Football was invented in England. In 1848 students wrote the

first rules. The first club ever was founded in Sheffield 1857,

the club was called FC Sheffield. The first English champion

was Preston North End in the year 1889. The first

international match was Scotland versus England the result

was 0-0. The match was played in Glasgow on the 30th of

November 1872. From Switzerland, football came to

Germany and other countries. A Swiss also founded the

Football Club Barcelona and the Stade Helvetique Marseille.

In the club played ten swiss players. All in the world was

played with nine players. The first World Championship was

played in 1930 in Uruguay. Uruguay won the first world cup,

defeating Argentina in the final. The UEFA European

Championship was founded 1960. It was originally called

European Nation Cup. The first winner was the Soviet Union.

The current champion is Spain. Germany and Spain have won

three titles each.

Athletics

Athletics is an exclusive collection of sporting events that involve

competitive running, jumping, throwing, and walking.

Athletics events were depicted in the Ancient Egyptian tombs in

Saqqara, with illustrations of running at the Heb Sed festival and high

jumping appearing in tombs from as early as of 2250 BC.

There are many kinds of sports:

- throwing: you must throw a ball very far

- running: you must run 100 meters or you can run a 3x1000 (for men)

/ 3x800 (for women) race

- jumping: you must jump high over a rod or you can jumpe very far

in a sandpit

- shot put: you must thrust a ball very far

Olympic Games

The best athletes can prove to play in the Olympics and compete against each other.They can jump,run and throw a ball to win a gold medal.

There are many kinds of Olympic games:

- paralympics

Badminton - a sport for everyone

Badminton is a typical sport from Great Britain. The players play in teams, two

players on each side of the court.

In the middle of the field there is a net and the players have to get the ball over

it. If the ball touches the ground on the other side, the team gets a point. If you

have the ball, you can touch it one time not more. You play badminton with a

racket and a special kind of ball.

The game was invented in 1872 by a British duke and in 1893 the first club was

founded.

The first championship took place in 1899. So it became a popular sport in

Great Britain.

1920 it came to Germany where it became very popular too.

If you want to play Badminton you can do it at the sports club in Winnweiler.

There`s a group of seven members, who meet every Friday and the

membership isn`t expensive. You can have a lot of fun for 15 Euro for a half

year.

Bruce Springsteen & the E-Street Band The band plays together since October 1972, but the official foundation was in September 1974. The band leader is Bruce Springsteen. Planetshakers is a Christian band from Melbourne in Australia. The band was founded in 1997 when they first played as a worship team at a Planetshakers teen Conference. Now they are regulary travelling the globe and go on tour. Planetshakers isn´t only a band, it´s a church too. And they have many ministries for example the Youth Ministry, called “Planetboom”. Founded and led by Pastor Russell Evans, Planetshakers includes Henry Seeley, Samantha Evans, Mike Guglielmucci, Matt Garner, Mike Rudy Nikkerud, Mike Webber, and Jonathan Hunt. Most of the songs contain synthesizer sound and many electric guitars. In 2007, the band was nominated for a Dove Award, the highest annual honor in Christian music. About the Pfalztheatre

You think the pfalztheatre is boring? Oh no, it isn’t! There are not only things

for your grandparents. If you don’t believe me, read this!

There are lots of interesting events like

musicals, operas, theatres and of course

dance! But it isn’t all classical, there are

modern things too! And trendy music is

played by their orchestra.

They play beautiful suites. A suite is a mix of different music in the nude or

from totally other kinds of music.

Sure, there are entrances like Swan Lake and the Nutcracker by the first

Russian state ballet. And of course, theatres (Magic Flute or Nabucco)

The pfalztheatre does a costume sale out every four years. There you can buy

pretty clothes for the stage.

If you want to be an actor, you can wait till you’re 16 and play then big roles or

you can send your CV to the pfalztheatre and then you can be an extra.

Jesus night

Do you think Jesus is boring? And do you think the cristian

music is boring too?

Than you weren´t at the Jesus Night! It´s a nice event with

cool music for youth. It´s every year in Hassloch on the 30

april. This night is organized by CVJM Hassloch. The bands are

very nice and last year there was a band from California which

is called Rein4cements. The other bands are very cool too.

There were Fackelträger, Warum Lila?, the Outbreakband and

many more. Oh, I forgot! The Jesus night is in the skaterhall

and every year, there is a highlight. The skaters and bikers

make dangerous stunts in the half-pipes. They jump with their

bikes out of it, make a nice stunt and jump into it.

After that, it is a very good feeling to pray Jesus with more

than 500 people, but it is loud, so the CVJM gives you earplugs.

Outside of the skaterhall are bouncy castels for youth and not

for children, bull riding and games like Chaka. If you were there,

you know what I mean, namely it isn´t boring because the music

is cool and you have so much fun.

Pfalzcamp - outside with you! You don’t know where to go in the summerholidays? There is a special thing for you. Why don’t you go to the Pfalzcamp? Here, you are without your parents

and you sleep in tents with other kids and teens. In the Pfalzcamp there is a big selection of different programms. If you like action, you can run in the woods all the time or you can walk up the tower at our place in Seelen. Many teens want to relax in their holiday. You can do this in your tent, in the grass or in the big hammock forest. And there are many other teens too, so nothing is boring. The swimmingpool in Rockenhausen is worth a trip in the afternoon because, during the summerholiday, often it’s very hot. Sometimes we meet and sing songs from the fly (that’s the name of the songbook) and watch little dramas from the volunteers.

The camp for kids and teens from nine to thirteen is in the fifth and sixth week of the holidays. The best thing: you can sleep here between one night or two weeks. If you are intersted, visit the website from the Ev.Jugend Rockenhausen because they are the organizers.

Coco Chanel

Coco Chanel was born as Gabrielle Chanel on the 19th of

August 1883 in Saumur. Her parents, Albert Chanel and

Jeanne Devolle, weren´t married. She grew up with five

brothers and sisters. She had her biggest success in the

business of the “ Haute Couture”. In 1920, she created

“ The little black one” and in 1923, she launched the

perfume “Chanel N°5”. Coco Chanel was one of the most

important people in the business of fashion. She died on the

10th of January 1971 in Paris.

Hair:

Tipp one:

First pound some aspirin tablets to powder. Then add some shampoo to it

and apply this cream on your scalp. It helps against scall.

Tipp two:

Fill beer into an aerosol and spray it on your hair. This is very good

because it cultivates your hair. (The smell goes away when the hair is dry.)

Legs:

Tipp one:

Peel and slice a raw potato. Put the slices on your thighs and bum. This is

the best cellulites killer because it firms the skin.

Tipp two:

Mix some honey with curd till you have a cream and apply it on your legs.

After that, your skin is soft and clean. (This is good for the face too!!)

Tipp three:

Take salt in a bowl and add oil. Apply this mixture on your legs, rub and

wash it off. Then the dead skin cells go away.

Eyes:

Tipp one:

Dip two bags tea in hot and then in cold water. After that, you apply this to

your eyelids. The tear sacs under the eyes disappear. ( Important : Use

black tea!!!!)

Tipp two:

Lay two soup spoons into the freezer. Take them out after a few hours and

put them on your eyes. Then, after a few minutes, the tear sacs have

disappeared.

Face:

Take a banana and pound it. Then add liquid honey till it becomes a soft

mixture. Put this mixture on your face. After ten minutes, you can wash it

off and get a soft skin.

Household remedies against pimples

- the latest trend -

To get a perfect skin, you don’t need any expensive cream or liquid. You

only have to mix some natural thinks, which you can buy in every truck

store or supermarket for less money. At first we will heal infected skin. There are 3 masks to taste.

1. Lemon-curd-mask

2 tablespoons curd

1 teaspoon lemon juice

2. Honey-yoghurt-mask

5 tablespoons plain yoghurt

1 tablespoon honey

3. Healing earth-mask

1 tablespoon healing earth

3 tablespoons water

Mix everything together, and leave it on your skin for 15 minutes. Then

wash it off with warm water.

If you have many pimples in your face, you can use this two natural thinks

to heal it.

At first you can put, with an applicator, some tea tree oil on the pimples.

The second possibility: Boil 200 ml water and add 10 ml liquid camomile.

To get a perfect skin, you don’t need any expensive cream or liquid. You

only have to mix some natural thinks, which you can buy in every truck

store or supermarket for less money. At first we will heal infected skin. There are 3 masks to taste.

1. Lemon-curd-mask

2 tablespoons curd

1 teaspoon lemon juice

2. Honey-yoghurt-mask

5 tablespoons plain yoghurt

1 tablespoon honey

3. Healing earth-mask

1 tablespoon healing earth

3 tablespoons water

Mix everything together, and leave it on your skin for 15 minutes. Then

wash it off with warm water.

If you have many pimples in your face, you can use this two natural thinks

to heal it.

At first you can put, with an applicator, some tea tree oil on the pimples.

The second possibility: Boil 200 ml water and add 10 ml liquid camomile.

have ever tested. I know better make up.
