ANNUAL MEETING
The Annual Meeting and Election of the Board of Directors of the Riverton Community Association will take place on Saturday, March 25th from 10 am – 12 pm at the Betty Ann McDonald Community Center. All members of the Association are encouraged to attend. A sign language interpreter is available upon request; please call the office to arrange. Registered members 18 years or older that are current in their assessments can vote in the Riverton Community Association Election. The ballot box will be open 10am-12pm.
Voting registration is permanent as long as you maintain the same residence. If you changed your residence within Riverton you must re-register.
You can register at the R.C.A. office M-Th. 9am-5pm. Please bring proof of address and photo identification.
Registered members unable to attend the Annual Meeting and Election can obtain a proxy via the R.C.A. office.

A letter was sent to all residents at the end of January about Riverton
moving to electronic communications. If you haven’t done so already,
please visit our website and click “Email Sign Up Form” to provide us
with your email address.
C A S H O N L Y P O L I C Y
As a reminder, the Riverton office will only be accepting checks or
money orders for payments on room rentals, assessments and other
services.

It is the responsibility of Riverton residents to keep individual and
cluster mailboxes clear of snow in both the front and back. The USPS
will not deliver mail to inaccessible mailboxes. Additionally, the Town
of Henrietta prohibits parking of vehicles on all highways and
shoulders of roads from 2am & 9am from Nov. 1st – Apr. 15th.

We are evaluating adding pickle ball lines to the tennis courts and
would like to hear from you! If you are interested in playing pickle ball,

We are pleased to announce that the Community Center kitchenette is going to be remodeled with new cabinets, counters and appliances. The work will take place over the next few weeks. As a reminder, the Community Center is available for rental by all Riverton residents in good standing. The spacious 24’ by 48’ room has seating capacity for 76 people and tables/chairs are provided.
Room can be booked up to 1 year in advance
The rental fee is $75.00 for 6 hours
A $100.00 refundable cleaning deposit is required

claimed, it will be donated to charity.
Do you know someone that might be interested in running for President of the Riverton Board of Directors? If so, please submit a nominating form signed by ten or more members of the association. The form can be picked up at the R.C.A office and is due by 5 p.m. on March 15th. Candidates must be residents in good standing and 18 years or older. Voting will take place during the March 25th Annual Meeting. Board members are volunteer positions and serve without compensation.

It’s never too early to start planning for the annual garage sale. Don’t miss this opportunity to sell all of your unwanted items. A P P R O V E D M O T I O N S
Karen Egeling has been hired as the Riverton Association Manager, starting January 2, 2017. Snow plowing for the Community Center has been contracted out for this winter season.
Riverton Grounds department has been made seasonal and will operate April 15th - October 15th. Holly Brewer is nominated as the Riverton Grounds liaison. Hidden Valley has been hired for the 2017 mowing season. Metropolitan Collection Agency has been hired for accounts receivable services. The Community Center kitchen will be remodeled and new windows will be installed. Contractors have been hired for the Community Center remodeling. Customer Magnetix, Inc. has been hired for the Riverton electronic communications project.
U P D AT E S Andy Veniskey will be moving south and has resigned as President. Resident requested pickle ball lines to be added to the tennis courts. Notice has been placed in the Feb/Mar newsletter to evaluate interest from residents.
