Thank You!
“FUMC, Thank you so much for the beautiful altar flowers. It was a very beautiful big bouquet. It lasted a long time and we enjoyed it very much. Thank you also for sending us the bulletin. Thank you also for the beautiful cards.” Gladys & Ellen Tucker “Dear FUMC Congregation, Your generosity is awesome as you continue to support FISH with your dollars. The need among the unemployed and underemployed is really quite evident. In January, 2014, FISH pledged $4213 to assist 67 households an amazing amount to start off the year. Thank you for sharing your resources with FISH. Let’s do the FISH-ing for you and lend a helping hand to the needy.”
Myrna Yoder Director of FISH
“To the Church of Love and thoughtfulness, It started out just another birthday adding one year to the total making 97. Suddenly I was “Special“ with all the lovely cards and notes from the church. Thank you. I have enjoyed reading and rereading them. So 97 wasn’t just another birthday instead a Special Day with 97 not so bad to say out loud afterall! I thank the Lord for health and a good residence to live in. I need to say another “Thank you” and “God Bless you all.” Maxine Moffitt

Choral Anthem: “Great Is Our God” Psalm 66: 1-2, 5-10 Fanny Crosby William H.Doane Setting by Craig Courtney
Choir: Shout with joy, all the earth, Make a joyful noise all ye lands. Sing forth the glory of His name for great is our God!
Behold the works of the Lord; His deeds on our behalf. Let the sound of His praise be heard abroad For great is our God! He has preserved our lives. He has kept our feet on dry ground. Let us rejoice in Him For great is our God!
He has tested us, He has refined us as silver, For great is His love, Let us rejoice in our God. Congregation: To God be the glory, great things He has done! So loved He the world that He gave us His Son, Who yielded His life in atonement for sin, And opened the lifegate that all may go in. Praise the Lord, Praise the Lord, Let the earth hear His voice! Praise the Lord, Praise the Lord, Let the people rejoice! O come to the Father thru Jesus the Son, And give Him the glory, great things He hath done!
Choir: O praise Him, O praise the Lord!
The altar flowers are presented to the Glory of God by Mike and Tracy Williams, in honor of their beautiful daughter, Kayla, who is celebrating her 9th birthday.
