THOUGHTS FROM BRAD
I want to thank everyone who came to thecongregational meeting. The food and fellowshipwere enjoyed.
Again I want to remind everyone that a newelective will be offered in the fellowship hall
beginning March 9th as a follow-up to our GreatCommission sermon series. The goal of this classwill be to help you become more comfortablesharing your faith. We hope that whether you arecurrently in a Sunday School class or not, that youwill take advantage of this opportunity. I will leadthis class and it is a 5-6 week commitment.
I want to thank Josh and Michelle for providing a
fantastic Valentine dinner. It was a great meal fora great price. I am sure I speak for all whoattended in saying Well done.
I can hardly wait for Elevate to come and sharewith us in worship on February 23 rd. Their vocaland instrumental talent will touch your heart. It isalways good seeing young people use their giftsfor the Lord. I am thankful while they train for full-
time ministry that churches like ours can helpstrengthen them by affording them opportunities touse their gifts. Allow me to say thanks to thosewho are providing for their housing on Saturdaynight the 22nd. We currently have need for 1 boyand 1 girl to be housed. Please contact me if youcan help.
Let me leave you today with this Scripture fromthe Amplified Bible: For God did not give us a
spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven andcringing and fawning fear), but [He has given us aspirit] of power and of love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control (2Tim 1:7). Let us claim and prove this passage tothe world as we boldly live for Jesus.
May God bless your life,
Brad
