Summary Manhattan Beach real estate activity in February was rather disappointing as total sales dropped 34.8%, median sales price fell

38.2%, median days to sell increased 9.7% and the sales-listing ratio plummeted 42.6%. On a positive note, net listings improved

13.3%. Year-over-year months of inventory climbed 40% from February 2016 to 2017.

In February, C.A.R. reported “Existing, single-family home sales totaled 420,100 in January on a seasonally adjusted

annualized rate, up 2.1 percent from December and 4.4 percent from January 2016.”
