We anticipated an early 2018 premiere of Doc Martin season 8 following the pattern of previous seasons. However, this year appears to be an exception. The distributor of Doc Martin for North American has not yet offered the latest season. We must wait until that happens before we broadcast the show. I’ve heard from many viewers and I regret to say the wait continues. In recent months, WITF has made many changes to the programming that occurs weeknights between 11pm and 1am. PBS has been busy evaluating options which has led to the occasional reworking of the plan. The current line-up features an international newscast from BBC World News at 11pm followed by Beyond 100 Days (also produced by the BBC), Amanpour on PBS at midnight and Stories from the Stage at 12:30am. Beyond 100 Days cuts to the heart of the seismic stories changing the global political landscape.
