The space occupied by exhibitors was increased by an incredible 23% compared to the previous edition in 2013 cementing FHM’s position as the Number One Food and Equipment exhibition in the country. International content was particularly impressive this year with 8 national pavilions from Fujian Province of China, Japan, Korea, Singapore, South Africa, Taiwan, Turkey and the USA. In total, over 1,200 participating companies from 50 countries used FHM as a key component of their marketing strategy in the region. 22,759 trade visitors from 57 countries visited the show, breaking previous visitor records. Among the big names who participated were Aeroshield, Auric Chun Yip Sdn Bhd, BGS Tradings, Boncafe, CB Frozen, Chefonic Kitchen Equipment, Chefutensile (M) Sdn Bhd, Cimei, Dankoff Coffee Specialist Sdn Bhd, English Hotbreads (SEL) Sdn Bhd, Euro-Atlantic Sdn Bhd, Eurochef, F&B Equipment, F&B Facilities, Global Pacific Victory, Green Master Global Fine Food Sdn Bhd, HSH Frozen Foods, Lucky Frozen, Kian Contract Sdn Bhd, Monzone, Nestle, New Zealand Unlimited Sdn Bhd, NKR Continental (M) Sdn Bhd, Pastry Pro Sdn Bhd, Piau Kee Live & Frozen Seafoods, Rak Porcelain, SCC Corporation, Sendo Ichi, Sinmag Bakery Equipment, Starkey and Winterhalter. We thank all of our exhibitors for their contribution in making this year’s FHM so successful. The exclusive conference “Optimising Revenue through Innovation” by Aariana Hospitality International brought together international key decision makers and was attended by some 300 delegates. The speakers who hold reputable positions in the industry shared their thoughts on latest trends, insights and how to best optimise the revenue management practices within the hospitality industry. Malaysian Celebrity Chefs live cooking demonstrations by Chef Anis Nabilah and Chef Norman Musa made FHM 2015 even more exciting than before with their charms and skills in cooking. Live Cooking DemonstrationsChef Anis Nabilah demonstrated delicious dishes using fresh ingredients from Pacific West Foods and Lucky Frozen. The self-taught and internationally recognised Chef Norman Musa

conducted cooking demonstrations of local dishes using ingredients from exhibitors, Euro-Atlantic and Bestari.

Culinaire Malaysia 2015Talented chefs in action for the Malaysian Battle of The Chefs organised by Malaysian Association of Hotels.

Opening CeremonyY Bhg Dato’ Haji Azizan Noordin, Deputy Director General of the Ministry of Tourism and Culture Malaysia, who represented YB Dato’ Seri Mohamed Nazri Abdul Aziz, Minister of Tourism and Culture officiated FHM 2015, followed by touring of the exhibition halls.

Wine VillageFor the first time ever in the FHM series of

exhibitions, The Wine Village showcase organised by The Wine Academy was

introduced as a show within a show feature. Wines brought in from Germany, Hong Kong,

Italy, New Zealand & Singapore among others provided an excellent selection.

Food & Hotel Penang 2016 (FHP 2016) Soft LaunchFHP 2016 was launched during FHM 2015 in conjunction with FHM 2015 Networking Nite. The exhibitors

who signed the launch poster to show their continued support in the Northern Region are Aeroshield, Auric Chun Yip, Global Pacific Victory, JETRO, New Zealand Unlimited and TAITRA.

Norwegian Salmon 101 WorkshopThe Norwegian Seafood Council brings you the best from the cold, clear waters of Norway. The workshop featured Chef Pele Kuah and Chef Kenneth Loke who shared their expertise in the art of cooking this highly sought after fish.
