A new application that prevents people from accessing their phones, thus mitigating the likelihood of technology overdependence.

Proposal
Electric Pal sends a shock to users whenever a phone detects a touch in order to use negative classical conditioning to slowly get users to concentrate. The shock urges the consumer to not instinctively use a smartphone during presentations, meetings, or lectures. The expected results from repeated use of the application should lead to more appropriate behavior.
