Field". These are to help you locate certain sections of the FAQ, aslisted in the index. Use Ctrl + F on most Word Processors and in InternetExplorer to use the Find/Locate command.

Example:If you are looking for the section "Playing Blitzball - Player Stats",type 'i-a' into the Find box. 'i' is the Index Number and 'a' is the sectionnumber. This will take you to the beginning of the section.

  -=================================================-  -= PLAYING BLITZBALL =-  -=================================================-

Index Number: i

Introduction============Use the in-game tutorial in conjunction with this section to learn how toplay Blitzball more quickly.

Blitzball - General Overview============================Blizball is a game based on numbers(like fighting in RPGs) - numbers will be

used for everything in Blitzball. But don't let this deter you, as you willbe missing out on one of the greatest(some say the greatest) Final Fantasymini-games ever.

  =---------------------------------=  =- Player Stats -=  =---------------------------------=

Search Field: i-a

Player Stats============The most important thing in Blitzball is each Players' stats. These determine

the outcome of every encounter, pass, and shot. Every player has eight stats, which are used in different situations. Every player has different stats, and their stats is what you will look for when recruiting new players, anddeciding whether to drop your own. The stats and their uses are as follows:

Level=====You players' Blitzball level is not counted as a stat, but it is whatdetermines your stats - the higher your level, the better your stats(in theory!). Players raise their Blitzball levels by performing variousmoves in the match. They will gain EXP for every pass, shot, etc. whichwill result in players levelling up.

HP==(NOTE: This is not based on your HP in the 'outside world')Hit Points(HP) are what the player uses every time s/he moves with the ball, and whenever s/he performs an action or special technique. When you chooseto perform an action, the amount of HP needed will be shown on screen.Players regain HP whenever they don't have the ball. If a player ever has0 HP, s/he will be unable to participate in the match.(This is extremelyrare)

SP==Speed(SP) is how quickly a player moves during the game(with and withoutthe ball). Faster players will be better able to get into good positionsthan slower players. Speed is moderatley important for every player(exceptthe Goalkeeper).

EN==Endurance(EN) is the amount of damage a player can take from oppositionplayers when s/he has the ball. When breaking through opposition players(explained later), a player uses up EN, if his/her EN is 0 after theencounter, the other player will gain possession of the ball. Themore EN a player has, the better chance s/he has of breaking throughnumerous tackles. Endurance is important in Midfield and Forward playersas it is needed to break through tackles in order to shoot on goal.

AT==Attack(AT) is the opposite to Endurance(EN). Attack is used by thedefensive player during an encounter, and determines how much damagethe player will inflict on the player with the ball. If your AT ishigher than the opposing player's EN, then there is a very goodchance that you will get the ball from the other player. High AT

is important in defensive players, as it will stop players who areapproaching your goal.

PA==Passing(PA) determines how far and how fast a player can pass the ball. The higher the PA rating, the more chance the ball has of ending upin the receivers hands. Passes can be blocked by defensive playerswhich have not be broken through. The defensive player will try toblock the pass, and can take some of the power/speed off it - this isdetermined by the players Blocking(BL) rating. Note: The defensiveplayer will not always block the pass. If PA drops to 0 duringthe block, the defender will get the ball. If PA falls to 0 after

the block, but before it reaches the receiver, the receiver willfumble it. The PA rating will drop as the ball travels through the water, due to the friction of the water. High Passing is important in all players, but especially in Midfield players.

BL==Blocking(BL) indicates the chance that a player will block shots orpasses. The BL stat is used against PA and SH during passes and shots. The higher the BL rating, the more chance you have of interceptingthe pass/shot. Note: sometimes the defensive player may not be ableto block passes/shots. The Blocking attribute is important fordefenders, in order to block shots on goal and passes to open players.

SH==Shooting(SH) is the power and pace of the shot towards goal. The higherthe SH attribute, the better chance the player has of scoring a goal. The power of the shot can be lowered by defensive player's BL stat. When a shot is taken on goal, the SH rating and the Goalkepper's CArating are used to determine if the shot will be successful or whetherit will be saved/caught by the Goalkeeper. The SH rating will drop as theball moves through the water. Shooting is the most important attribute in

Forwards.

CA==Catching(CA) is only used by the Goalkeeper, and is used to determine ifthe Goalkeeper will save the shot. A Goalkeeper with a high CA ratinghas a better chance of stopping incoming shots. The Catching attributeis only important in Goalkeepers.

Search Field: i-b

Playing Field=============Blitzball is a team sport played by two opposing teams. Each team has 6players. Their positions are similar to Ice-Hockey. There are two forwards:a Left and Right Forward (LF & RF), a Midfielder (MF), two defenders :Left and Right Defence (LD & RD), and a Goalkeeper (GL). Blitzball isplayed on a circular pitch (like the oval one used in Australian Rules),with a triangular goal at each end. There is a radar of the field in thebottom right-hand corner of the screen when playing Blitzball. This is

used when you are using the 'Manual A' control system to play Blitzball. In the top right-hand corner are your player's attributes and their names. These are used during each encounter and when shooting or passing(asexplained above). The score and the game's clock are also displayed in thebottom right-hand corner of the screen.

Moving your players===================NOTE: you can never control your players in defence.Press Triangle when you have the ball to bring up Control menu. There are three ways you can move your players: Auto, Manual A,and Manual B.Auto: This lets the CPU control your player's movement, all you will

have to do is select what shots/passes/tackles to use.Manual A: This is my favoured option, you control the movement of your  player(the one that has the ball) by pressing the directions  on the D-Pad/Analog stick in relation to the radar on the  bottom-right of the screen. Therefore: pressing left will  make the player swim towards the opposition's goal, pressing  down will make him/her swim to the side of the field.Manual B: This is similar to Manual A, except you control your player  by his direction on the screen, and not the radar. It is  not far removed from Manual A, and some players prefer to  use it.

Encounters

==========When you near an opposing player, you will enter an 'Encounter'. Duringan encounter you have the choice to break through players or No Break. If you choose No Break, the other players blocking(BL) attribute willcome into the equation. You can now choose whether to pass or shoot.Hopefully your PA or SH exceeds the BL of the defender, if not you'llneed some luck. Choosing to pass or shoot will use some of your HP(this is indicated on the screen) even if your pass/shot is not successful. When you select either option, the defender(s) will try to block it.S/he will take some of the power off your pass/shot if it gets through,

if not s/he will claim the ball. This may be difficult to understand, butonce you've played a Blitzball game you will see what I mean.

Breakthroughs=============the other option in an Encounter is to 'Break to [NAME]'. If you arefacing more than one opponent, there will be numerous 'Break to [NAME]'sto choose from. When attempting to Break through other players, yourEN and their AT comes into play. Look at you EN - for this example, we willsay it is 15. Now look at the first defender's AT - e.g. 7. This means thatyou should be able to break through the first defender, as the amount ofEN removed by the defender is between 50% and 150% of the defender's AT.So the least removed is 3.5 and the max 7.5 in this example. Now, let'slook at the second defender. We'll say his AT is 4, as the max that canbe taken away is 6 and the max from the first is 7.5, you should besuccessful(unless the defenders use techniques, explained later). Ifthere is 3 or 4 defenders, do the same for them, and note: the defendersrarely take 150% away. Now, when you have chosen how many defenders youare going to break through. Select it from the menu. If you want to breakthrough two, select 'Break to Defender2', if you want to break through 3,select 'Break to Defender3' and so on. After you have chosen how manydefenders you want to break through you can choose whether to shoot, pass,or dribble. If you successfully break through the defenders, they will nolonger be able to block your shots or passes. You can only choose to

dribble if you have broken through all the defenders. Any remainingdefenders will try to block your shots and passes.

Passing=======You can attempt to pass any time you have the ball. Passing outside encountersis worthwhile, as you can give the ball to more powerful players or bettershooters. If you wish to pass or shoot outside an encounter, press Squareto bring up the Pass/Shoot/Dribble menu. When you select pass, your PA statcomes into the equation. If there is no blocking players, the PA stat willbe fully used for the Pass. If you are blocked, part of the PA stat may beremoved by the blocker, or if the defender's BL is high, s/he may capturethe ball. After you have passed the ball, the PA stat will diminish as the

ball travels through the water, due to the friction of the water. If the ballreaches the receiver and the PA rating is still 1 or above, the pass willbe successful. If it is 0, the pass will be fumbled, and a random player(usually the opposition) will gain control of it. The amount of HP used bythe passing player is the same as his/her PA stat.

Shooting========As with passing, you can shoot any time you have the ball. Generally, youwill only want to shoot when you are near the opposition goal, as thefriction of the water would decrease the SH rating, making it easier forthe Goalkeeper to save. When shooting, you have do deal with an extrafactor(apart from BL) - the Goalkeeper's CA rating. If this is high,

you will have a more difficult time scoring. Sometimes when the CArating is higher than SH, the ball can still go in. This is becausethe amount that the Goalkeeper's CA removes from your SH varies from50% to 150% of the total CA. This is also the same for your Goalkeeper. As with passing, the amount of HP used is the same as the SH stat.

Techniques==========Techniques(also called Techs) are special abilities used in Blitzballmatches, which make the game more interesting. There are many differentTechs in the game(see Techniques section for full listing), varying fromones that improve your stats(e.g. Sphere Shot), ones that inflict statusailments (e.g. Venom Tackle), and ones that speed up HP recovery(Regen).Techniques either cost HP to use or to equip. Techniques can only beequipped after level 3. Therefore, you have to have(nice word usage, there)played a number of games, before you can use Techniques. When you reachlevel 3, you will be able to equip one Technique, but as you level up,you will be able to equip more - up to a maximum of 5.

Gaining Techniques==================There are two ways to learn techniques in the game - Techcopy duringmatches, and win them in Tournaments/Leagues.Alright, so there is a third way, but that's only for Tidus! OK?

Techcopy========Before each game, you can select which players you want your team to mark.

When selecting who to mark, the other players will have techniques listedbelow their names, the ones that appear in colour, are the ones that yourplayer can learn. During the match, if the marked player performs thatTechnique, the word Techcopy will appear in the top left-hand corner ofthe screen. When it flashes white, press X in order to learn it. Ifyou are successful, you should hear a tinkle, and a confirmation thatyou have learned the new Technique will appear on the screen. Note:low level players will not be able to learn techniques off high-levelplayers even if Techcopy appears on-screen.

Key Techniques==============Each player has 3 Techniques that s/he has to learn to be able to learn

further Techniques. If you learn one of the three a certain number ofextra Techs will be available to learn, if you learn 2 Key Techs, even more will be open, and so on. If you learn a Key Techniqueduring the match, you will be alerted of this at half time.

Assigning Techniques====================Before each game, and at the start of the second half, you can assignTechniques to your players Technique spaces in order for them to beable to use them in a match. Some Techniques require you to use HPwhen equipping them(such as Regen), this HP will be taken away fromyour Max HP as long as you have the Technique equipped.

Using Techniques================During the match, when you choose to Pass/Shoot, you will be able tochoose to use whatever Passing or Shooting Techniques you haveequipped. The same for Tackling. These will require a certain amountof HP to use each time.

Status Ailments===============During the game you may be inflicted with status ailments, the most

common of these is Poison.Poison: The effected player does not regain HP when s/he does not have  the ball. The player cannot use anty Shooting Techniques while  poisoned. The poison will wear off after a while or at half time.Wither: One of the effected players Stats will be halved. In order to  remove this stat reduction, you must use that stat e.g. if PA  is lowered, you must pass the ball. This effect wears off at  half time.Sleep: Caused by Nap Techniques. This sends the player to sleep,  unable to move. The player will awake at half time, after a  goal is scored, or when s/he is hit by the ball.

Defensive Formations====================Press Triangle while on defence to bring up the Formation menu.Your team will learn more formations as it wins more matches.

Normal: The default formation. The players stick to their usual  positions, but follow the attackers to a certain extent.  My chosen formation.

Mark Mode: Your players follow the players assigned in Mark Mode.  Useful if you want a player to learn a certain  Technique, but sometimes leaves the defense open.

Left Side: Your players will protect the Left Side of the field  more than the right. Useful if dealing with a strong  attacker.

Right Side: The opposite to Left Side.

Centre Attack: The Midfield player pushes forward and becomes  a Centre forward rather than a midfielder.

Flat Line: The offence will form a line to attack, and there will  be no defence.

Counter: The defence closes down the offence more, leading to  greater tackle success. Helpful if you want to hold onto  a small lead.

Double Sides: A combination of the Left and Right Sides formations.

Recruiting Players==================This is one of the best parts of Blitzball, as you can develop yourBlitzball team while roaming the world. If you approach a person inthe game, and press Square instead of X, you can see if they are aBlitzball player. When you start off, all you can see is theirsalary when you talk to them, but as you win more games yourscouting level improves. With higher scouting levels, youcan see player's attributes, their techniques and the techniquesthey can learn. If you find a player you want on your team, press

Sqaure to see their Blitz stats, and then choose Sign Player. You will have to pay them a salary for each game they play.Don't worry if you can only afford them for a few games, you can get more money and resign them when their contractexpires.

Forwards========When recruiting forwards(you'll only need one, you have Tidus),look for high SH and EN attributes as these are the mostimportant stats for forwards. Get Wedge in Luca as earlyas possible, as he will be able to play in Attack early on,then Defence and then in goal.

Midfield========The most important attribute for a Midfielder is PA, but highBL and AT are also important.

Defence=======You will need players with high BL and AT, and reasonable PA.EN and SH don't really matter. Get Zalitz in Luca, as he is agood Defender to have early on.

Goalkeeper==========High CA and lots of Goalkeeper Techs(such as Super Goalie) are veryimportant! Jumal is a great goalkeeper early on.

Evil R's Team Suggestions=========================I'll divide the BB game into 4 parts since most people won't playBB until level 99. I suggest that you should start Blitz Ball afterDjose Temple since that is when the ferry will become available againand you can go back to recruit some good players.

The best team early on right after Djose Temple is:

LF: TidusMF: Tatts/KiyuriRF: ViluchaLD: WedgeRD: Zalitz/Ropp

G: Jumal

If you don't plan to play BB early on then you can consider the followingteams.

Level 1-29

Alastair's Latest Suggestions=============================< level 25Fw: Tidus and WedgeMF: With the airship, you'd be a fool to pass over BrotherDF: Ropp and one of either standard Ronso, Psyches or Goers, Kyou should be  your top choice here.GK: With the airship? Nimrook.

lvl 25-35Fw: Tidus and the strongest stock Ronso, Guado or Psyches forward (depending  on what stats you prefer).MF: why change a winning team?DF: Ropp and WedgeGK: Nimrook, obviously

Lvl 35-50Fw: Tidus and Larbeight (you may consider phasing out Tidus in favour of

Vilucha around her level 40+)MF: Leave unchangedDF: Leave unchangedGK: Leave unchanged

Post level 50:Now is the real time to start making your own lineups depending on your playingstyle. For best lineup, a few hints:Brother will start to drop back to just average, so consider replacing him.For defense, stick with Ropp and complement him with Kulukan or Irga Ronso. Now more than ever before, it's techs who make your game, not really stats.Find your best tech distribution, as you should have filled the tech grid for

almost everyone. If you need to introduce several players who are way behindin levels, put them in your team one after another, use the tournamentlevel-up strategy

Novice strategies: How to get the upper hand on your first matches=================

Many players feel a bit lost when starting out playing Blitzball.Especially the first game against the Goers can be very difficult, since you both discover the game and face a really hard opponent. The following games will also be quite difficult to manager withthe original Aurochs team: they're not the best around for starters,

and they don't have any techs available (aside from Tidus). You'll quickly find out that the Goers are not a badass team at allin regular games, but the Al Bhed Psyches will get really troublesome.

Here are a few methods for beating the Goers in the first match:On the SS Winno, en route to Luca, once you've watched all thecutscenes, collected all stuff you need and talked to everyone, save your game. Then go to the aft deck and get near to the Ball. You'll now begin a mini-game which will get Tidus a Blitball techcalled "Jecht Shot".

but his PA is just awesome. Combined with huge HP, one veryeffective tactic is to draw 3-5 opponents around him and use the best passyou have at that time (I had Wither Pass 3 and Venom Pass 2) and makecarnage of the enemy ranks. He will probably get ahead of the rest ofthe team EXP-wise.

Your next big challenge is to plan for a new forward:the really long-term good ones you can get for a while are probablyall at level 1. The best prospect is probably to wait and pick upLarbeight in Kilika as soon as he's free.

If you want to start building a stable team for the verylong term, the best forwards available near Luca at level 99are Vilucha, Larbeight and Tidus. Be aware, though, that Viluchais below average until level 40 and almost devoid of techswhen you get her. Larbeight is quite good when he first becomesavailable, and he starts to stand out above the fray as soonas level 20.

After that, it's more or less straightforward for a verylong while. Once Wedge hits level 25, put him in defence. He'lllast at least 30-40 levels in that spot, and with Ropp, forms analmost impenetrable wall. His weak spot is his low PA, but since hecan techcopy quickly and a lot, give him a good pass tech (any level

2 tech will do). When he's in posession, use his huge EN to youradvantage: in defense, the opponent forwards usually have quitemiserable AT anyway, so just wait until they're done tackling, thenpass the ball to whoever is closer between your MF or Ropp.Once you get Wedge Tackle Slip, this becomes even easier.

Your sole issue remaining at that time is the MF: I usually getsick of Zev so I start to level up another one for a change. If you plan to get Brother, you could get Pah Guado in the meantime.Tatts and Mep are also quite decent until level 35 or so.

Goalie-wise, while waiting for Nimrook, your next best opportunitywill be Miyu, both Letty and Jumal get way too bad quickly.

Anyway, whoever you chose, the difficulty is to level them up at all:with Ropp and Wedge in defense, 80% of your matches won't even see ashot passing your blockers, that means the goalie only gets 2 XP per game.

Advanced Team Strategies========================Once your average player level is 30, you should beexperienced enough to form your own strategies and try them out. Here are a few of mine:

- Offense-heavy: put a natural forward with decent PA as an MF.This will give you three shooters. Optionally, put a fourthone (with decent BL and AT though) in one of your defence spots, giving you even more attack power. You should score a lot,but you'll get scored against a bit.

- The Wall: select an MF heavy on AT and BL, give him agood tackle and at least either Brawler or Elite Defense.Optionally, put a natural defender in one of your forward slots.Bottom line: you'll shoot less often, but no-one shall pass through

Shot 3, which is a great tech that adds 7 to his SH and always withers thegoalie if it wont score. But it takes 390 HP, which will take awhile for herto get. The only bad thing about her is that she doesnt get many techs andone of her key techs is Volley Shot, which is hard to learn.

Shaami: Lv.01 HP 100 SP 58 EN 11 AT 04 PA 5 BL 2 SH 10 CA 2Shaami: Lv.20 HP 910 SP 59 EN 25 AT 17 PA 7 BL 4 SH 21 CA 3Shes another great shooter. With constantly rising EN and AT and a very goodSH, shes one of the better shooters out there. Not only that but she startsout with Venom Shot 3, which is a great tech that adds 7 to her SH and if itwont score, itll poison the goalie. Plus it takes only 100 HP so she canuse it rather soon. Only bad thing about her is her below average SP, whichslowly increases throughout her levels. But its excusable because 2 pointsdifferent in SP wont really matter right off the bat.

Wedge: Lv.01 HP 080 SP 65 EN 09 AT 06 PA 3 BL 05 SH 17 CA 2Wedge: Lv.20 HP 934 SP 65 EN 25 AT 20 PA 3 BL 15 SH 20 CA 4He starts out with the highest SH of 17. But his low EN will get the best ofhim until you level him up where itll gradually grow up. His SH grows slowlyand it will stop at about Lv.30 where itd only go down in the end. His ATand BL constantly grow, making him a great defender. In fact, Wedge wouldmake an excellent MF if it werent for his low PA. If you use him, you willhave to replace him early on because other shooters shooter stats will bemuch superior to Wedges. But if you need a good shooter for a very short

(such as the Reset Data Trick to get Wakkas ODs and Sigil), Wedge is theguy to get.

Biggs: Lv.01 HP 080 SP 57 EN 10 AT 05 PA 3 BL 2 SH 11 CA 1Biggs: Lv.20 HP 934 SP 57 EN 27 AT 11 PA 3 BL 9 SH 13 CA 5Hes a tank with constantly increasing EN. But his SH rarely grows andthat is his biggest flaw. Without enough SH, a shooter cannot shoot andscore from it. You can use shooting techs to help out, buy youre betteroff with a shooter with high SH... He has all three Volley Shots but theywont be able to do much with low CA (unless the shot before was a Nap Shotor Wither Shot).

Nedus: Lv.01 HP 100 SP 30 EN 12 AT 2 PA 3 BL 2 SH 10 CA 3

Nedus: Lv.20 HP 910 SP 30 EN 28 AT 6 PA 9 BL 4 SH 20 CA 3Hes another tank. But he takes after a real tank and is slow with a SP of30! But with high EN and good SH, he can survive any tackle a defender cando and still have the SH to score. His SP will start to grow at Lv.35 andwill reach to 99 by Lv.70! Hes a good choice for a shooter if you can takehis low SP for a while...

Blappa: Lv.03 HP 186 SP 60 EN 13 AT 05 PA 09 BL 11 SH 13 CA 1Blappa: Lv.20 HP 970 SP 60 EN 24 AT 11 PA 22 BL 19 SH 29 CA 2***Blappa starts off on the Al Bhed Psyches with 4 games.***He is the best shooter you can get at early levels. With great EN, PA, andSH that constantly grows throughout his levels and his decent AT and good BL,you cant go wrong with Blappa. His only problem is that he doesnt have a

large assortment of techs to use, but you can make the best of what he has.Blappa is not a free agent but 4 games can be up quite soon, allowing him tobe dropped and picked up by you relatively soon. Refer to the Getting aBlitzer off Their Team trick below for an easier way to get Blappa.

Summary: You have a great assortment of shooters to choose from. I highlysuggest you get both Blappa and Shaami. Both make an unstoppable shooter duotogether. But if you want Tidus and/or Wakka, I guess you should go with thembecause if you dont use them, no one else will and theyll be at a low levelforever. So if you want the two to reach Lv.99, youre going to have to use

Page 91: Final Fantasy X Blitzball FAQ for PlayStation 2 by AlaskaFox - GameFAQs

them. Its easier to get them now rather than leveling them up from 3 to 99when everyone else is 99...

MidFielders (MFs):Brother: Lv.01 HP 0105 SP 75 EN 08 AT 06 PA 14 BL 13 SH 14 CA 1Brother: Lv.20 HP 1090 SP 76 EN 21 AT 12 PA 26 BL 26 SH 18 CA 1Hes quite possible the best MF you can get at early levels. He has fast SP,and constantly increasing EN, PA, and BL. The only thing bad about him is thathe might become an experience hog and will gain levels faster than everyoneelse on your team. But use him accordingly and he will never do you wrong.

Linna: Lv.07 HP 314 SP 59 EN 10 AT 08 PA 08 BL 12 SH 10 CA 3Linna: Lv.20 HP 954 SP 59 EN 13 AT 10 PA 15 BL 14 SH 21 CA 4Shes a pretty good MF. She starts off at such a high level with pretty goodstats. Her PA and SH rises a lot and her AT and BL are great for a MF. Shealso starts out with Nap Shot 3, which is a great tech that adds 7 to her SHand if it misses, it will always put the goalie to sleep. The downside isthat it takes 350 HP to use which maybe too costly. This tech can really helpout your shooters. Shes a great MF to use if you would like a third shooter.

Kiyuri: Lv.01 HP 081 SP 60 EN 08 AT 08 PA 08 BL 2 SH 1 CA 1Kiyuri: Lv.20 HP 669 SP 60 EN 16 AT 12 PA 22 BL 8 SH 6 CA 5Shes a pretty average MF. Her PA is her best stat and it increases a lot.Her EN and AT are decent too. But her HP is quite low, as well as her BL

and SH. Shell end up being a pretty good MF in the end but her early statsarent so great. She starts out with Wither Pass 3, a great passing tech butit take sup 440 HP, which she might be able to spare. She also starts outwith Anti-Wither 2 so she cant get withered. If youre a fan of Kiyuri, then you might want to use her. Otherwise, you probably should stay awayfrom her at early levels.

Milfurey: Lv.01 HP 085 SP 20 EN 08 AT 08 PA 05 BL 3 SH 10 CA 2Milfurey: Lv.20 HP 723 SP 22 EN 20 AT 14 PA 19 BL 5 SH 28 CA 3Shes a pretty average MF who has an obvious flaw, her very low SP of 20! HerSP does gradually rise throughout all her levels and it will end up at 69 atlv.99, but for the most part, shell be slow. She has great SH, EN, and PAthat all increase during her levels. She also has Venom Pass 3, a great

passing tech that takes only 250 HP, and Tackle Slip 2, a tech that allowsher to dodge others tackles 80% of the time. Shes a good MF if you canwithstand her very low SP.

Svanda: Lv.01 HP 100 SP 60 EN 10 AT 10 PA 08 BL 15 SH 14 CA 4Svanda: Lv.20 HP 910 SP 60 EN 20 AT 11 PA 17 BL 15 SH 21 CA 4Shes a pretty good overall MF. With good EN, PA, and SH as well as ATand BL, theres not one thing she isnt capable of in being a MF. Herstats dont increase as much as the others, but her stats are pretty good,no matter what the level. She comes with Anti-Nap 2, which can insureher to never fall asleep, and Venom Tackle 3, a very good tackling tech.Shes probably one of the best overall MFs you can get at early levels.

Tatts: Lv.05 HP 215 SP 65 EN 10 AT 06 PA 14 BL 06 SH 05 CA 1Tatts: Lv.20 HP 890 SP 67 EN 19 AT 10 PA 26 BL 14 SH 10 CA 2Hes a decent MF. He has great PA as well as good EN and above average SP.Hes not bad on the defensive side with good BL but his AT doesnt increaseas much. He starts out with Invisible Shot, which is a guaranteed goal 60%of the time if you know how to use and control it. Not a bad tech but canbe harmful when its used on you. Hes a good MF that can score goals easilyonce you get the hand of the I. Shot.

Rin: Lv.05 HP 242 SP 60 EN 09 AT 5 PA 12 BL 05 SH 05 CA 1

Rin: Lv.20 HP 959 SP 60 EN 17 AT 6 PA 20 BL 10 SH 10 CA 1Hes a good MF. He has decent EN and PA that rises a bit. Hes not sogood on the defensive side with low AT and so-so BL. He does start outwith Venom Pass 2, a good passing tech, Pile Venom, which can aid withhis Venom Pass 2, and Tackle Slip, so he can dodge 40% of others tackles.Hes not bad of a MF but not very good either.

Zev Ronso: Lv.01 HP 0230 SP 52 EN 12 AT 7 PA 07 BL 07 SH 11 CA 1Zev Ronso: Lv.20 HP 1691 SP 53 EN 20 AT 9 PA 20 BL 24 SH 19 CA 2Hes a pretty good MF. His HP, EN, PA, and BL are all pretty high if yougive him the chance to level up. Hes a Ronso so hes slow but with SP of52 that slowly increases, hes obviously the fast Ronso. With good stats, hes probably a better MF than Ganza could ever become. If you dont mindhis kinda low SP, then he can be a prime MF for you.

Mep: Lv.01 HP 0060 SP 60 EN 09 AT 06 PA 05 BL 19 SH 07 CA 1Mep: Lv.20 HP 1320 SP 60 EN 13 AT 15 PA 11 BL 22 SH 23 CA 5Hes a pretty good MF, especially for an ancient monk! His stats dont startout so well with low HP, but his BL is really high. Give him some levelsand hell start to become a very good MF. His EN and PA dont come out toohigh and this may lead to problems as he may be too weak to take tackles orpass over people. But he kinda makes up for it in his other stats. Hestarts out with Nap Pass 3, a great passing tech but it takes 550 HP to useso he might not be able to use it for a while. If you can find ways to make

up for his low EN and PA, he can become a very good MF.

Graav: Lv.03 HP 0207 SP 60 EN 09 AT 08 PA 13 BL 08 SH 08 CA 2Graav: Lv.20 HP 1090 SP 60 EN 19 AT 15 PA 25 BL 20 SH 17 CA 6***Graav starts off on the Luca Goers with 20 games.***Hes a very good MF. He has lots of HP, great EN, BL, and good EN and SH.The only thing bad about him is that he doesnt have so many techs. Anotherbad thing is that hes not a free agent right from the start. If you wantGraav, either keep an eye out for him or get him yourself using the Gettinga Blitzer off Their Team trick below. He is worth it for earlier levels.

Berrik: Lv.03 HP 205 SP 60 EN 08 AT 10 PA 12 BL 11 SH 04 CA 1Berrik: Lv.20 HP 962 SP 60 EN 18 AT 19 PA 26 BL 21 SH 10 CA 5

***Berrik starts off on the Al Bhed Psyches with 9 games.***Berrik is a monster MF. With great EN and PA along with pretty high AT andBL, he makes the ideal MF and even a defender. He has very good stats anda good assortment of techs to learn and use. But watch out, he couldbecome an experience hog... If you want him, either wait out those gamesor use the trick below.

Summary: With a good number of players for this one spot, choosing canbecome quite tough. I highly recommend Brother, Linna, Graav, and Berrik.Brother will last you up to Lv.60, Graav and Berrik will last you up toLv.30-40 or so and then itd be time to get another player. Linna canlast all the way to Lv.99, but the other three have much better statsthan her in lower levels. Basically, you have to choose which one youd

think would best suits your playing style and abilities. You can hiretwo MFs if you want and put one on the bench and switch off. But youwont get a single overpowered MF (which you dont want), instead youcan get two weaker MFs (which you probably dont want).

Defenders:Ropp: Lv.05 HP 191 SP 60 EN 09 AT 11 PA 10 BL 15 SH 1 CA 2Ropp: Lv.20 HP 810 SP 60 EN 16 AT 15 PA 18 BL 18 SH 3 CA 5Hes the best defender there is. Hes not extremely good at early levelsbut his stats are pretty good. He has great EN and PA as well as good AT

His stats jump after level 60.

Kulukan: SP 60 EN 36 AT 64 PA 96 BL 64 SH 18 CA 12The 2nd best defender IMO. She has the best balanced AT and BL.Any passing tech she does gives her 99 PA! Her AT, BL, and PA jumpafter level 60. She could also make a great defensive MF.

Diem: SP 60 EN 37 AT 46 PA 89 BL 63 SH 16 CA 20Obviously, the worst Kilka Beast. But shes not totally bad though. Her stats are decently high for a defender but other defenders are somuch better than her. In fact, Kulukan beats Diem in every statexcept for EN, CA, and HP and those three stats arent as importantfor a defender.

Nizarut: CA 60The 3rd best goalie in the game. His CA jumps after level 50.All his other stats are pretty much all around the 50s.

Al Bhed Psyches===============Comments: The Al Bhed Psyches have incredible stats in the earlyand middle levels. But at high levels however, their stats are notvery high for Eigaar, Blappa, and Berrik. They do have two OK defenderswith AT 50, 49, PA >70, and BL 61, 68. Nimrook is the must have goalie.

Another funny thing is that all of them could be decent MFs.

Blappa: A crazily awesome forward before level 40. Due to high PAand BL, he could make a great MF before Lv.30.

Eigaar: Same as Blappa but more defensive with higher AT, BL, and PA.Due to high PA and BL, he could make a better MF than Blappa.

Berrik: A monster MF before level 60. Has incredibly high AT and BLthat could mix him up as a defender. Due to high AT and BL, he couldmake a pretty decent defender.

Judda: SP 60 EN 60 AT 50 PA 76 BL 61 SH 10 CA 22

A very good defender/MF due to high EN, PA, and AT before level 70.And an average defender/MF at level 99.

Lakkam: Another good defender/MF before level 60, but worse then Judda.Plus shes not the person youd choose to date, much less thinking shesa bit hot or cute.

Nimrook: CA 67Simply the best goalie at low to high levels. CA grows higher throughouthis levels. He also has high EN, which could make him an average MF.

Ronso Fangs===========

Comments: These Ronsos have huge EN and SH, however, their SP is verylow so use that to your advantage. Irga is one of the best defendersthat you may consider recruiting. (Surprisingly, none of their HP everpasses 6600 considering their huge HP at lower levels.)

Basik: SP 43 EN 88 AT 47 PA 16 BL 31 SH 80 CA 12A great shooter with high EN and SH. 2nd highest AT for a shooter. However his slow speed could become a problem.

Argai: SP 42 EN 84 AT 34 PA 32 BL 36 SH 80 CA 16

Page 99: Final Fantasy X Blitzball FAQ for PlayStation 2 by AlaskaFox - GameFAQs

Same as Basik but with lower AT and EN. He has the highest SH ratingbefore level 80.

Ganza: A decent MF. Has incredibly high EN at low levels but itdoesnt gain much.

Irga: SP 42 EN 92 AT 67 PA 85 BL 55 SH 17 CA 20The 4th best defender but her slow speed could become a major problem. You should pair her up with Nav Guado and give her Elite Defense andBrawler to make up for her slow speed. She gets a huge jump in EN,AT, PA, and BL after Level 60.

Nuvy: A worse version of Irga.

Zamzi: CA 55The 4th best goalie in the game.

Guado Glories=============Comments: Guados are the fastest in the game. Their SP is almost allover 70 with Nav SP 84. The defenders have high PA and BL fromlevel 1-99. However, they don't have high AT, EN or SH. So if you can'twin with speed, you can win with brute force and high EN. They are anaverage team from beginning till the end.

Nav: SP 84 EN 65 AT 54 PA 65 BL 82 SH 33 CA 12A good MF and 3rd best defender due to the 4th highest SP, decent PAand highest BL in the game. He starts out as a slow Guado with a SPof 57 but his SP jumps after Level 40.

Zazi: Fast shooter with low EN and average SH.

Giera: Same as Zazi but with slight differences.

Pah: A fast, decent defender with high BL.

Auda: A speedy defender with high AT and BL.

Noy: A decent goalie at low levels.

Free players============

Brother: SP 99 EN 59 AT 54 PA 44 BL 45 SH 42 CA 20The rocket of the game. He is one of the fastest players in the game w/99 SP.He is the BEST MF/defender before level 60. He doesn't gain much afterlevel 60. He totally dominates BB from level 1-60 but could make BBsomewhat boring. With Wither Tackle 3 and Pile Wither, he couldcripple people easily.

Wedge: SP 66 EN 68 AT 43 PA 68 BL 31 SH 17 CA 62The 2nd best goalie. Wedge is an interesting player. He starts with SH 17,which makes him a good LF or RF. Then at level 24 or so, his SH stopsincreasing and he has good EN and AT which switch him to a good defender. His role of defender last until about level 70 and he suddenly have a highjump in PA and CA (he starts with CA 2). By looking at his final stats, his only role is a goalie. So he is not the idea choice if you want tocreate a stable team from beginning to the end.

Kiyuri: SP 60 EN 69 AT 66 PA 90 BL 51 SH 56 CA 20Kiyuri is the best defensive MF due to her high AT, PA, EN and BL. Thefact that you can get her very early in the game is another big plus. She is on S.S. Winno. However, she starts out with average stats. Shewill have her stats jump after level 50. She gets the 3rd highest ATin the game.

Kyou: SP 71 EN 41 AT 44 PA 89 BL 64 SH 20 CA 46A good early defender with high start AT 15, and stays quite consistentwith high EN, decent PA, BL. His BL starts out low but gradually increases.A decent goalie as well. Not recommended after level 45. He has a PA jumpafter level 60. Starts out with many tackle techs.

Zalitz: SP 59 EN 45 AT 34 PA 60 BL 70 SH 22 CA 20A high start defender. A good defender early on, but worthless afterlevel 40. His AT doesnt grow much and his low EN, PA, and SH makeshim useless on offense.

Shaami: SP 66 EN 68 AT 39 PA 34 BL 31 SH 88 CA 14A good overall shooter, but there are better ones out there. Hashigh AT for a shooter at low levels. Starts with Venom Shot 3 at low levels.

Shuu: SP 60 EN 53 AT 57 PA 91 BL 32 SH 10 CA 12A great defender at low levels. She may seem to be a shooter in the

beginning with stats similar to a shooter but you have to give hersome time to get in the defender groove however. Otherwise, shesan average defender with high AT, EN (for a defender), and PA but low BL.

Jumal: CA 41He starts with CA 14 and ends with 41. His CA is OK before level 30after that others will eventually have better CA. A good choicebefore you have access to other goalies. His CA gains slowly untilLv.60, when his CA jumps a bit.

Svanda: SP 60 EN 85 AT 42 PA 92 BL 38 SH 50 CA 15A good MF up there with Kiyuri. It all depends on if you want to playoffense with her EN 85 or have a better defense with Kiyuri AT 66 BL 51.

Stats jump after level 50. Any Lv.3 pass tech gives her 99 PA.

Zev Ronso: SP 57 EN 73 AT 65 PA 54 BL 50 SH 35 CA 13He may have a high AT 65 at level 99, but he starts out with AT 7 andwont have a huge jump until level 70. He does make an OK MF due to hishigh EN, PA, BL or defender due to his PA and BL at lower levels but inthe end, he will end up being a powerful MF/defender. Not recommendedbefore level 50. Hes also always the fastest Ronso with at least 10more SP than the rest.

Tatts: SP 71 EN 82 AT 47 PA 70 BL 53 SH 48 CA 11A good MF before level 50, an average MF in the end. However, he isthe only person who has Invisible Shot before all the rest. His

semi-high SP and his high EN might be a great plus.

Durren: SP 60 EN 28 AT 25 PA 24 SH 33 SH 4 CA 24None of his stats (excluding SP) exceed 33...THE WORST PLAYER.However, he makes the 2nd best goalie Lv.20-40.

Nedus: SP 99 EN 71 AT 24 PA 33 BL 11 SH 74 CA 14Before level 60: SP 30-45 EN 49 AT 13 PA 18 BL 7 SH 38Another crazy character. He starts with turtle speed, but becomesthe fastest shooter in the game w/SP 99. If you can endure 50 levels

and you can get him early on in Mi'ihen Highroad's Travel Agency. Also at high levels, Ropp can become the BEST defensive MF as wellwith his PA 96 and his high defensive stats. Any passing tech cangive him 99 PA! Stats jump after level 50. Not a spectacular defenderLv.30-50.

Wakka: SP 60 EN 78 AT 16 PA 35 BL 11 SH 80 CA 20Wakka is only an above average shooter. He is completely uselesswhen defending. He can be potentially very powerful with hisAuroch Spirit skill. But if you don't have any Aurochs on yourteam, the skill's true potential will be wasted but it can makeWakka have VERY high SH early on. However, never pair him withTidus as LF, RF. This combination will make your front line'sdefense VERY weak. Use at your own risk. Unfortunately, another team will NEVER hire Wakka so he will stay at Lv.3unless you use him.

Jecht Shot==========The Jecht Shot is a very useful shot that only Tidus can learnand use in BB. It adds 5 to his SH and can break through up to2 defenders. So if you have any defenders on defense, you can go toNo Break-Shot-Jecht Shot so the shot will bounce off 2 people and youdont have to worry about them tackling or blocking you. You canlearn it by going to SS Winno and go to the BlitzBall there and youllget a mini-game which you press X and the direction in which thequote is on in part of the screen. For example, if the message ison the top of your screen, you press X and the up directiontogether. After doing that for about 10-11 quotes, Tidus will do the

Jecht Shot successfully and now you can equip it as a tech in aBlitzBall game and it will really help! You have a chance to getthis before the big tournament and Luca. If you mess up on it,then you can always go back to Luca and go to Kilika or Kilika andgo to Luca using the ship and get it on that ship by going to theBlitzBall. Also you may need to have subtitles on to play the game.

Reset Trick===========You can use this trick to get better prizes for leagues and tournaments.First, beat a league and/or a tournament (and have played 2-4 games fora new tournament to be set). That way, a new league/tournament willstart the next time you select Play BB. However, DONT LOOK AT THE

PRIZES FOR THE LEAGUE/ TOURNAMENT!!! This means that you cannot goto the Play BB menu when a leagues/tournaments prizes will be set.Instead, save your game (without looking at the prizes). Then go toPlay BB and check the prizes of the league/tournament. If you likethem, go on and play the league/tournament. If you dont, then softreset (L1, L2, R1, R2, select, and start and the same time) and loadthe save up. Then go to Play BB and check the prizes now. Theyshould be different (if they are the same then you must have checkedthe prizes like you werent supposed to) and if you like the prizesthen play the league/tournament if you didnt then soft reset again

and repeat.

Lure====OK, to do this you need a fast player  Most likely Brother (you can alsouse any Guado, Datto, Naida, or Nedus). Anyways, give that fast person theball and then let him/her swim near each player on the other team (orthe 3 on the left or the 3 on the right; MF is the middle so thatperson can be on either side). Now when a person with the ball getsin a persons range, hell go after that person with the ball. Sothen the people will go after the fast person. Have the fast personswim back to your goal (or somewhere close to it) and the other peoplefallowing you will still follow you. When the fast person starts tohave no people in his range that will cause an encounter (its OK iftheres an one person encounter because you can break through or passover him), have him pass to one of the shooters (that is now opensince the entire right/left side is by that fast person). Now havethe shooter swim to the opposite goal and therell be no defendersthere since they are in the middle of the field coming back from thechase. So you dont need to worry about losing the ball so justshoot! This trick works well if the other team doesnt have somuch fast people but doesnt work as well when facing a team withmany fast people (Guado Glories).

Getting a Blitzer off Their Team================================This way you can get someone off the team they are on so you can hirethem or not have to worry about facing. First off, scout the personyou want out of the team they are on. Notice what team they are onand how many games they are on for (ex. Nimrook is on the AL BhedPsyches and lets say he has 17 games left with them). Then goplay BB and play Exhibition games with the team the person is on.You should forfeit each time. You should forfeit enough games equalto one less the number of games that person has left on the teamscontract (ex. You play the Al Bhed Psyches 16 times and forfeiteach time). That way the person will have one game left (ex. 17-16=1). Go back and scout that person just to make sure he has one game left

and also because scouting a person whose contract is going to expiresomewhat lowers the chance of that team resigning the character. Then, go and save your game. Then go play that team one more timein an exhibition game. Forfeit and now the persons contract willexpire. Now if the team does not resign him, you can now go outand hire him. If the team does resign him, soft reset (shoulderbuttons plus start and select) and reload the game. Then play BBagain and repeat until the person gets released.

Fast Experience===============To get experience fast, first you need the character to havea Lv.3 pass (get the one that consumes the least HP possible)

and possibly Hi-Risk so you get double the experience. Then putthat character on as defense. If you want, you could have anotherperson level up by giving him the same things and putting him onthe other defense. You might also want to have your MF have NapPass 3 equipped. Then at the Blitz Off, get the ball. Use All-OutDefense (it makes the defenders go closer together and it gives agood protection in case someone comes to get the ball). Then givethe ball to the first character leveling up and have him use hisLv.3 Pass and pass it to the other person leveling up. Then viseversa  Between the time of catching the other persons pass and

the second before you can take an action, have the two people getcloser to each other so the passing time is shorter, allowing youmore time to pass. So keep repeating this process and if an opponentcomes closer to the two defenders, pass the ball to your MF and havehim get close to that opponent then make him encounter you and doNap Pass 3 so that opponent goes to sleep and you have one lessperson to worry about. If you dont have a Lv.3 Pass, you canlearn some more Key Techs in case that person can learn one later on.If not, use a Tech Find on a place where you can learn a Lv.3 pass(Venom Pass 3 cause it takes less HP). Otherwise, youll need touse Lv.2 Passes (or worse, Lv.1 Passes) until you get a Lv.3 one.If you do not know why you need to have a Lv.3 Pass instead of theother lower level passes, its because a Lv.3 Pass gives more EXP.If you dont have Hi Risk, either Tech Find it to open for you (ifyou dont have the slot) or possibly using the Reset Trick (Tip B)so Hi Risk can be won in a league (its VERY rare). Check tip P formore information on Hi-Risk.

Leveling Up Your Goalie=======================As you play BB more and level up, youll find your goalie to gain lessexperience and falls behind the other players levels. The reason whyfor this is because the only way he gets experience is by blocking andcatching the ball and using goalie techs. A goalie only gets 2 free

EXP. for just being there. So sometimes, you should hire a differentgoalie (possibly the best one available) and put your real goalie asa defender and the one you just hired to be goalie and watch the goalas you level up the real goalie. Use the Easy Experience trick aboveuntil your real goalie has reached a decent level that your team isabout or even higher than that! Then put the real goalie back in thegoal and the other goalie you can either keep on the bench until hiscontract expires or hire someone else to warm the bench.

Getting Everything in 26 Games==============================First off, get a good team but dont hire them for more than 5 games. Play the tournament that has the Attack Reels at first place. If the

tournament is not up, go to exhibition games and forfeit them until thetournament comes up. Win it and get the Attack Reels. Then, reset thedata (Play BB-Reset Data; its at the bottom). Check the League to seeif the Status Reels are in first place prize. If not, keep resettingthe data until it does. Then get your team again and this time hirethem for no more that 16 games. Play the league and win it. Then, goto the tournament and see if the Aurochs Reels is for first place. Ifso, play it and get it. If not, then reset the data until it changesto the Aurochs Reels. If theres no tournament, keep forfeiting exhibitiongames until you get one. Then after that, reset the data and check tosee if the Jupiter Sigil is in first place prize for the league. Ifnot, keep resetting the data until it changes to it. If so, rehireyour team, for no more than 10 games and play the league and win it

and now youre done with BB with only 26 real games. However, makesure Wakka has been in those 450 battles before you go through this!Because you may get seeded (skip the first round) in tournaments, you might only have to play 24 or 25 games...

Tech Copy=========There are two ways to get more techs for your blitzers: winning themfrom tournaments and leagues (which is self-explanatory) or by TechCopying them from other blitzers. To Tech Copy, you need to mark

If you cant find a person w/low PA, use Wakka if you havent usedhim for a while cause his PA is low and if you dont use him, noone will hire him and he wont gain any levels. Then go and playa game w/a team who has someone who has a Volley Shot equipped asa tech. First mark that guy who has it. Then during the game, get a defender (the faster the better) to lure the guy w/Volley Shotvery close to the goal. Have the defender breakthrough the shooterby either letting him tackle you (if you have higher EN than his AT)or by passing over him (if you have higher PA than his BL) and passthe ball to the person as a shooter w/low PA. Then have that personw/low PA (The farther away hes from your goal and the defender whopassed him the ball, the better) pass the ball back to the defenderwho just passed it to him. Use a normal pass and make sure you donthave Golden Arm equipped. Now the defender should fumble the ballsince the PA should be reduced to 0. Now that the ball is free, the shooter w/Volley Shot might be triggered to shoot the ball ifhes close enough to the ball and the goal. If he does, Tech Copyit. If he doesnt it could mean he has a lower Volley Shot (likeVolley Shot 1 or 2) or he was too far away from the goal. Anyways, repeat for other players to learn it or to retry to learn it.Remember, the higher level volley shot the shooter has, theeasier it is to Tech Copy it cause the higher level shot hasa higher percentage to Volley Shot the ball.

Copying Hi-Risk===============This seems to be another hard tech to learn. Well it actually isnt, its just very rare. You get Hi-Risk by winning it. You cantTech Copy it from someone. You can only get it by winning it.Its VERY rare!!! I NEVER saw it and I played a lot of games.Ive heard it shows up as a second place prize in a league. Ivealso heard that its a one out of two hundred chance (1/200) forit to show up. Getting second place in a league seems kind ofhard but you can do it. I dont think Hi-Risk is available intournaments so it may not be a good idea to keep looking for it inthem. And if you dont know what Hi-Risk does, it halves all yourstats (rounded down) except for HP and SP, which makes the games

challenging. But it also gives you double the experience. Itspretty risky but very rewarding if you dont care if you win orlose. If you still need to get Hi-Risk, you can just make surethe character has the slot open (Tech Find it if necessary) andfire him so when a team hires him, they can learn it for youbecause the computer makes their blitzers learn their techs prettyquickly, regardless if the tech is rare or not. Then you can justrehire that character once you get the chance.

Luck====People think that there is an invisible stat in blitzers. This stat is Luck. People say that blitzers who have higher

luck will have a better chance on doing everything. For example, someone said that Wedge is a better goalie than Nimrook because Wedge has higher luck. He said that Nimrook always lets in easyshots in the 50s while Wedge blocks shots in the 80s. Well, there is NO LUCK! Every stat is the game is worth 50% to 150% ofthat stat. So a stat of 10 is worth anywhere from 5 to 15. So,that means you have a 5 out of 11 chance to get a better stat forthis particular stat (10). There is no individual luck.Apparently luck does exist but its your luck, neither Wedgesnor Nimrooks. So its like this, you take 10 pieces of paper,

Page 107: Final Fantasy X Blitzball FAQ for PlayStation 2 by AlaskaFox - GameFAQs

7/23/2019 Final Fantasy X Blitzball FAQ for PlayStation 2 by AlaskaFox - GameFAQs

http://slidepdf.com/reader/full/final-fantasy-x-blitzball-faq-for-playstation-2-by-alaskafox-gamefaqs 107/120

each with a number ranging from 5 to 15. Then you put them in abucket (or top hat) and pick one of them out. That would nowbe what that stat is worth. So if you pick a low stat such as7, well thats your bad luck. If you picked 13, then thatsyour good luck. So you see, its not whether Nimrook is luckyor not, its if you are lucky or not. Also, for me Nimrookalways catches the ball except for probably once or twice inmy entire game. That does not count the cheap Invisible Shotscores  Also if Wedge is considered luckier, than at Lv.1why cant he score on Nimrook so easily? Wedge does have 17 SHand Nimrook has 18 CA. So why cant Wedge always score onNimrook if theres a one point difference? Hey, they saidWedge is luckier...

The Best Team=============OK just for fun, I will tell you my team that is the best team at Lv.99.This team is Vivi FFs choice so you know it will be awesome. I willalso tell you why its awesome:

LF- LarbeightRF- IskenMF- VurojaLD- Kulukan

RD- RoppGL- Nimrook

Yes, I do have 4 original Kilika Beasts  Theres a pretty good reasonwhy!!! All Kilika Beasts turn out to be AWESOME at higher levels andALL 6 of them can learn EVERY tech (except the Jecht Shots and AurochsSpirit).

LF- Larbeight is the BEST shooter in the entire game. He does havethe 2nd highest SH of 96 (Keepa has 99 SH), but he also has othercrucial stats that make him a good shooter, which Keepa doesnt.Larbeight can have 99 SH easily by using ANY shot tech. He has the4th highest EN of 87 and he is the best attacking shooter with the

highest AT of 50 of all other shooters. Plus hes just the coolestguy in BB!

RF- Isken is a tank with the highest EN in the entire game with 99and he has very high SH of 81. He can survive any tackle (or evena couple of tackles) and still be able to shoot and score. I chosehim over Vilucha because of his extreme EN. Its funny though howeveryone tries so hard to get the ball from him. Plus with aTackle Slip 2, he can break through the entire team!!!

MF- Vuroja is an awesome MF because he has 99 PA and high EN (75),AT (54), and BL (65). He can pass over anyone and survive manyattacks and hes pretty hard to get past. He is also the best all-around

MF that is very useful. His SH is low but I never use my MF to shoot. Most MF opponents like to breakthrough him and he usually gets the ballfrom them (they dont seem to know what a Wither Tackle 3 can do...).Sometimes that happens but if he doesnt get the ball then my shooterswould be in trouble if the MF were using Nap Pass 3. But if Vuroja fails,I always have Larbeight ready to attack if the opponent is stupid enoughto break through 2 people.

LD- Kulukan is the second best defender with the best balanced AT andBL. She has 64 with both AND she has 96 PA so she can pass over anyone
