The“Preliminary”ishighlighted,thereforethatisactive.EvaluatorcannowselectmultipleIndicatorswithinanyCompetency.TheopencirclesappearintheRubricandtheopenboxwithcodingappearswithintheScripting.Noticetheyarewhitewithacoloredborder.Youmaymarkasmanyindicatorsasneededandmarkthemasmanytimesasneeded,taggingtheindicatorstotheevidence.

Todeleteamarkyoucaneitherclickontherubriccircleanddelete,oryoucanRIGHTCLICK(control-click)onthemarkinthescriptingyouwanttoremoveanddeleteit.(IfyouareusingMozillaFirefoxasyourbrowser,youneedtoclickonthemarkfirst,thenright-clicktoremoveit.)

Oncethepreliminarymarksarecompleted,theevaluatorshouldthenchangetoFinaltogiveaFinalmarkforanycompetencywithpreliminarymarksforthatobservation.ByclickingonFinalitbecomesactive(togglestoblue)andcanbemarkedaccordingly.Thisstepneedstobecompletedforeaseinthesummativeevaluation,aswellasallowingthatstaffmembertoseewhattheiroverallratingforthatcompetencyforthatobservationis.

Todecideonafinalmark,theevaluatorcanlookatalloftheopencirclesanddecidewhatafinalmarkwouldbeforthatcompetency.ClickingonViewMarkswillallowtheEvaluatortoseethescriptingthatwentalongwiththosemarks.Finalmarksshouldbeplacedattheendofallscripting.Thepreliminarymarksarealreadytaggedtotheevidencesothefinalmarksjustneedtobeatthebottomofthescriptingpage.

TheevaluatormayalsoViewCumulativeData,showingwherethiscompetencyhasbeenmarkedthisyearorevaluationcycle.

Aftertheobservationissenttothestaffmember,thestaffmemberwillseeallpreliminaryandfinalmarks,therebyallowingthestaffmembertoseeallpiecesofevidencethatcontributedtothefinalcompetencymarking.Notethatonlythefinalmarkinginformationiscolor-coded.

AdministratorshouldsetthedefaultofpreliminaryorfinalunderSupport,PersonalSettings.
