What do they do on a day-to-day basis?

• Encrypt data transmissions and erect firewalls• Develop plans to safeguard computer files • Review violations and educate so violations do not repeat• Monitor use of data files• Regulate access• Monitor and update virus protection systems• Modify computer security files to • incorporate new software, correct errors, or • change individual access status.• Risk assessments• Run tests of data processing system• Discuss with users

– computer data access needs, security violations, and programming changes.• Promote security awareness• Coordinate implementation of computer system plan

• Is it indoors? Outdoors?– In cool, place with lots of computers and loud music.

Indoors in a computer lab.

• Would they wear a suit or jeans?– Depending of the originations dress code, it would

range from suits, business casual, or casual.

• Is it a 9-5 job or are there irregular hours?– Normal full-time hours, with the possibility of after hours

emergency calls.

• Introverted Sensing Thinking Judging– quiet and reserved individuals– interested in security and peaceful living– keen sense of right and wrong

• Visual,  Verbal, Tactile, Read/Write– I have no dominant Learning style preference,

all four learning styles scored close together.

How are those results reflected in this career choice?

• With the skills required do the job, a person who learns with all learning style would be an asset. They would be able to gather information in many ways reading, listening, Visually, Tactile. Which are all very important as a Information Security Analysts. They are part of the skills, and everyday duties that you have to use.

and wrong
