• You can also improve your chances at interviews by finding information on the company you are applying to

• In order to access the full-text of articles and reports, you need to be a Middlesex student, so do your research before you finish your studies

• Alternatively City Business Library in London offers a range of resources which can help you prepare for job interviews including company and country information, and advice on getting jobs:

You can register for password reset in case you forget your login details

 MyUniHub > My Study > My Library

Select ‘Databases’ from the list of electronic resources. You can then choose the database you want to use.

Type the industry that you want to research into the search box….

….then select ‘Industry profile’ from the ‘Publication type’ drop-down menu and click on ‘Search’

Read the report online by clicking on ‘PDF Full Text’

You can refine your search results by using the options on the left hand side of the screen eg. date, country, subject, publication or company etc

Find out more about the report by clicking on the title

Restart your search at any time by clicking on ‘New Search’

Type in the name of the company you are interested in and select ‘Browse’

Keynote

Using Keynote to find UK and European market information

Keynote provides industry standard and market research reports on particular companies and market sectors

Select ‘Keynote’ from our list of databases and click on ‘Enter Database here’

If you are asked to log into Keynote, use your ‘MyUniHub’ login

Keynote continued….Make sure that the ‘Market Report’ tab is selected. Enter the market sector into the search box and click on the arrows to start your search

Select ‘GMID’ from our list of databases and click on ‘Enter Database here’

GMID provides International market information including industry/country overviews, consumer trends and surveys
