Arden Burnell Larson

Funeral services for Arden Burnell Larson, 75, of Jordan, were held Monday morning, April 25, 2005, in the Veterans of Foreign Wars Hall in Jordan. Interment, with full military rites, followed in the Pioneer Cemetery in Jordan.

Mr. Larson died Saturday, April 16, 2005, at his home in Jordan.

He was born on Feb. 15, 1930, in Walhalla, N.D., to Alfred and Belma Larson. He lived in Walhalla until 1937 when his family moved to Polson. Burnell attended school in Polson and joined the Army in his senior year………His survivors include three children, six grandchildren, and one great-grandchild, Carrie (David) McNutt, their children, Erin and Ben of Phoenix, Ariz., Chlo Winters of Phoenix and her children, Daniel Lott of Jacksonville, Fla., and Melissa Lott of Winfield, Ala., and son Todd (Carol) Larson, their sons, Tim and Ryan (Shelly) Smith and their daughter, Carly of Miles City. He also is survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends who will miss him dearly.

Mr. Larson was preceded in death by his father, Alfred Larson and mother Belma (Olson) Larson; his wife, Carol; and three children, David, Gwen and Jill.
