Efectis can make calorimetric hood testing of manufactured products or furniture, such as seats, vehicles, inflammable liquid, ... in order to determine the heat release rate, the mass loss, the toxic gas, the emissivity, the fire spread, etc. and up to 10MW.
More than just a standard activity, the « Innovation spirit », in direct links with the R&D program, is part of the Efectis genetics.
The Efectis teams are developing scientific approaches, tests benches and equipment. The best illustration is the creativity in the field of ad-hoc tests, a specific and new problem to be solved where Efectis imagines a new test equipment and test method. Furthermore, the practical experience of Efectis allows designing whole test facilities. MOBILE FURNACE(UNDER TESTING STANDARD ISO, HCM AND RWS)
Efectis is the first company in the world that is able to perform realistic fire resistance testing on-site using mobile furnaces.
The MobiFire® can be applied to all kinds of structural elements, such as ceilings, floors, roofs and walls. The damage to the structure will be very limited, thanks to the fire controllability. All fire curves are possible (ISO, RWS, HCM) for any desired duration. The MobiFire allows to demonstrate the fire resistance capabilities of the construction element. Especially this is of interest for concrete structures, where the spalling behavior has to be determined adequately.

CE MARKING

OTHER CERTIFICATION
Efectis is recognized by many countries or private organization for certifying the fire performance of products and systems, either based on EN standards or other international/national standards.In other countries, case by case recognition is also adopted.
VOLUNTARY MARKS
Efectis is developing voluntary fire-safety marks to maintain a high fire safety level in buildings or infrastructures.
As the application of regulations and the fire resistance of construction elements are not always controlled, Efectis is able to check if the required fire safety level is reached.Furthermore, based on voluntary marks, Efectis may assess the knowledge and the skills of the companies in charge of the installation of the fire products. The fire safety level of building is strongly dependent on the quality of installation, Efectis is now qualifying the products in laboratories and certifying the companies that will install them.
Efectis adapts its marks to the constrain of the countries.
