Case Studies– FD sold A leading UK Investment Bank an Kx equity enterprise license in Jan 2002. The FD on-site team

has now grown to 5 (spread between London & NYC) and is responsible for developing and maintaining the equity program trading environment including an advanced analytics library written in q.

– FD worked on the Opus product installation for Swedbank in 1996 and have had a minimum of 1 consultant onsite ever since. The current 3 man team based in Stockholm provides ongoing systems support to the traders and resources for ad hoc developments.

– A large UK bank hired 2 FD resources for one-off project in 2001. Project success has helped spread FD reputation throughout the bank and we currently have 15 consultants on and off-site working on 6 separate projects. In the past 18 months FD has taken full responsibility for the near shore support of the Calypso product and formed a separate team to near-shore the support a range of legacy systems.

Swedish Bank – FD provide user and technical support for Opus, Kondor+, Algorithmics and carry out any in-

house developments requiring customisation and/or integration with the Opus trading system Investment Bank

– Multiple Trading System Integration, EAI project that required the integration of various trading systems for the purpose of collating all accounting data in each system into one back office accounting area

Large UK Bank– Development & Support of Trading System Integration, Responsible for fixed income

operational systems – from deal entry, through confirmation, settlement and posting to a general ledger system. The FD team also manage the generation of regulatory reports, contingency systems and various market risk feeds.

Potential Candidates Do you have a very strong Mathematics background? Grade A in A Level Maths

or equivalent. Do you have an excellent academic background – minimum AAB at A Level or
