A transformer is a device that transferselectrical energy from one circuit to another through

inductively coupled conductors³the transformer'scoils. A varying current in the first or primarywinding creates a varying magnetic flux in thetransformer's core, and thus a varying magnetic field

through the secondary winding. This varyingmagnetic field induces a varying electromotive force(EMF) or "voltage" in the secondary winding. Thiseffect is called mutual induction.

Suatu transformator adalah alat yang mentransferenergi listrik dari satu sirkuit ke yang lain melalui

digabungkan induktif konduktor-kumparan trafo itu.Seorang berbagai arus dalam lilitan primer pertamaatau menciptakan fluks magnetik bervariasi dalam intitransformator, dan dengan demikian medan magnet

If a load is connected to the secondary, anelectric current will flow in the secondarywinding and electrical energy will be transferredfrom the primary circuit through the transformerto the load. In an ideal transformer, the inducedvoltage in the secondary winding (VS) is inproportion to the primary voltage (VP), and isgiven by the ratio of the number of turns in thesecondary (NS) to the number of turns in theprimary (NP) as follows:

By appropriate selection of the ratio of turns, atransformer thus allows an alternating current(AC) voltage to be "stepped up" by making NSgreater than NP, or "stepped down" bymaking NS less than NP.

In the vast majority of transformers, the coilsare wound around a ferromagnetic core, air-core transformers being a notable exception.

Dengan pilihan sesuai rasio putaran, dengandemikian memungkinkan transformator arusbolak-balik (AC) tegangan yang akan "dinaikkan"

dengan membuat NS lebih besar dari NP, atau"turun" dengan membuat NS kurang dari NP.

Pada sebagian besar transformer, kumparan

adalah luka di sekitar inti feromagnetik,transformer inti udara menjadi pengecualian.

An ideal transformer is the one with 100% effeciency.Meaning, there is no power loss during the alteration of voltagevalue. Hance, the power entering the primary coil ( P in) is equalwith the power exiting the secondary coil ( P out ). This kind of transformer is merely theoretical

for voltageand current in the primary coil ( V p and Ip),voltage and current in the secondary coil ( V s and Is), the numberof twists on the primary coil n p, the number of twists on

secondary coiln

Jenis Transformers daya1. Ideal transformers

Transformator ideal yang satu dengan 100% efisiensi.Artinya, tidak ada daya yang hilang selama perubahan nilaitegangan. Hance, kekuatan memasuki kumparan primer (Pin)sama dengan daya yang keluar dari kumparan sekunder (Pout).Transformator semacam ini hanyalah teoritisuntuk voltageand arus dalam kumparan primer (Vp dan Ip),tegangan dan arus dalam kumparan sekunder (Vs dan Is),

jumlah berputar pada kumparan primer np, jumlah puntiranpada kumparan sekunder ns, persamaan berikut ini diterapkan:

2. Non- Ideal TransformersNon ideal transfotmers are the ones wo do use. The

output power of non ideal transformers is less than their

input power. The value of power losses within thesetransformers depand on their effeciency.

2. Non- Ideal TransformersNon transfotmers ideal adalah orang-orang yangmenggunakan. Daya output transformer non ideal

adalah kurang dari daya masukan mereka. Nilaikerugian kekuasaan dalam depand transformer ini padaefisiensi mereka.
