FISIP to Welcome a Visit of UPN Veteran Yogyakarta Submit by prasetyaFISIP on December 28, 2017 | Comment(s) : 0 | View : 1943 UPNVY's visit to Faculty of Social and Political Science On 28 December 2017 took place in 6th floor Hall of Building A, Faculty of Social and Political Science Brawijaya University had guests of Department Head, Secretary and Lecturers from Science of International Relations, Faculty of Social and Political Science, University of National Development "Veteran" Yogayakarta. According to Dr. Muharjono, M.Si as Department Head at Science of International Relations Faculty of Social and Political Science, University of National Development "Veteran" Yogyakarta, the visit aims to stay-in-touch, establishment cooperation and learning management in academic and finance affairs. Muharjono mentioned that after National of University Development switch its institutional status from private- university into Public-University his party is required to adjust with the system of governance management which requires the principles of accountability. "With its status shifting as working unit of Public University, practically its organization and governance, human resources, finance and assets or infrastructure is very different compared with when still became private university. After it becomes public university, all forms of activities should following government regulations, while the human resources are not all understanding the issue, thus need training and learning in related institutions," said Muharjono. Muharjono also added that each state apparatus is required to be responsible on its performance of all programs/activities on utilization of funds and authority given. In line with that, National of University Development "Veteran" Yogyakarta is continuously has bureaucracy reformation in order to support organizational performance to be more effective and accountable. In line with that, National of University Development had a visit to Faculty of Social and Political Science Brawijaya University to establish cooperation and capacity building in management of educational institution as well as building healthier institutional management system. Hopefully, will be created self-sufficiency accompanied by transparency and accountability on system, process and procedures of all working units for quality improvement and continuous relevance as well as university's positive branding into its stakeholders.
