• 4 training sessions dedicated to SME’s (REACH, transport regulation, durable development, nanotechnologies).

• Elaboration of handbook with all posters and publications realised for partners.

• Integration across activities :

FLEXIFUNBAR project integrated various research activities in different field, technological Process, biotechnology, Nanotechnologies, Materials…coupling with other type of demonstration activities, take up activities, training, dissemination of knowledge, workshop…

• Inter sectorial integration :

The consortium involved a majority of SME’, private and public sector research organisations, academia, and large companies.

SME’s are the direct beneficiary of RDT results.

Large companies were necessary for the RTD and technological innovations to be integrated and transferred to SME’s.

• Horizontal integration :

The multidisciplinary research approach lead to the establishment of strong links between materiel science, nanotechnologies, innovation of process, textile industry, leather and paper industry.

The expert of nanotechnology usually works with high-tech sectors like electronics. With FLEXIFUNBAR program it was an opportunity for traditional sectors to have the direct benefit of fundamental knowledge.

• Vertical integration :

The fully supply chain of technical skills :

The consortium brought out together university, research centres and SME’s.
