Existing Positive Eye products suitable for use with Pin-Plan Portfolios
Many Positive Eye products are already ideally suited to involving the child or young person in ensuring their views, opinions and wishes are taken into consideration during the planning of their support. These resources also support positive self esteem and wellbeing. Table 1 (at end of document) detail those that are suitable for supporting the child’s involvement in their support and how they fit into the focus areas identified in the document ‘Better Assessment Better Plans Better Outcomes.’
In using the Pin-Plan Portfolio and Positive Eye’s resources you are also supporting the longer term outcomes set out in ‘Preparing for Adulthood’ element of the SEND reforms set out in the Children & Families Bill).

The Pin-Plan Portfolio provides a simple, fun interactive and creative way for the child/young person to be involved in the planning and review of their support during their school years.
